In the novel she first goes to the underworld and finds out he found her in her 10 reincarnation. Then the ghost king talks about how persistent her and YQ are and she tells him that her master I think is about to ascend to god status so she will use that event to get into the god realm to see her mother in law. When she does this shan gu gives her the dream and also tells her that there is no way to bring him back. Although she is lying as bai ju tells her when feng Yi has left that why did she not tell her that the ghost god can actually bring him back because YQ left a part of his souls attached to the phoenix jade she carries with her from the time his chaos blood went in during her nirvana. Girl literally has her man following her around in that jade pendent thing and does not even know it. YQ is the definition of clingy boyfriend lol.

I actually just went back to reread and chapter 139 Feng Yi is talking to the ghost king and that is when she learns that he had found her in her 10th reincarnation and never left her side since then he was always the gentle and quiet guqin player beside her helping her thru each life and erasing her memory before going back to the underworld to enter the next reincarnation. I think she had gone to the underworld in her search for YQ after he disappeared and that is when the ghost king tells her. Unfortunately for her YQ seems harder to find than she was when she disappeared. Either that or boy is better at looking than her oh brother. I swear they need to stop playing this hid and seek games can we at least get one episode of them together please. Maybe I should also specify that it can’t be a dream. I feel like with this type of drama you gotta be specific when it comes to these things.

Yeah I am wondering if maybe she will recall those life’s in the mortal world after he disappears. Kind of like he locked those memories for her and once he is gone because his powers disappeared those memories become unlocked. I would not mind her figuring out that he was always there looking out for her and protecting her. It would be nice. Not sure how they would do it. I can’t remember now but I think in the novel she also find out that he had been with her during her reincarnations always beside her after he dispersed. I really have to go back and reread.

Honestly the more she does this the worse she is going to feel when she finally figures out he has very little time left. Cause she is wasting it away which will be a regret for her. He is no longer asking to be forgiven because at this point all he wants to do is spend the little time he has being beside her and helping her clear Ayin name before he is completely gone. He doesn’t even aspire to be forgiven and that is sad. I feel for him because he cuts a very lonely figure. I know a lot of people like to hate on him but he has been suffering and dying alone for 1000 years just cause we didn’t see it on our screen doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Everyone says why didn’t he talk it out with her. How was he supposed to tell her that he was going to punish her and send her away to seclusion for 1000 years and then go end his life to bring back everyone on daze mountain who would then be back by the time she would be ready to come out from seclusion. He never meant to kill her but he was intending to end his life to bring back daze mountain which I am pretty sure she would not have agreed to. He felt guilty for daze mountain to clear both their sin towards daze mountain he could only think of saving her and everyone on daze mountain. So was he supposed to tell her he was intending to save her and then commit godly suicide by using up all his chaos power. His actions were very much like his father hurt her so that she would not be sad when he was gone. He just didn’t count on chicken girl interfering and hurting her so that when he administered his punishment she could not take it. Had he known that bit he would never have administered the punishment. I feel bad for both and I get she’s hurt but the real problem is she is wasting precious time and she’s the one who will regret it most. He has missed her for 1000 years he’s just happy she’s alive at this point and just wants to be in her vicinity doesn’t even care if it’s under the rain as long as he gets to see her. It’s the little things for him at this point.

Like I said it’s from the epilogue I am not sure if the epilogue was written after the novel. I read the translation of the epilogue. If they follow what they did with ancient love poetry I don’t know how satisfying most might find it. I wasn’t particularly happy but at least it was HE where they found each other again. But I really generally hate the 5 seconds HE. Where the leads see each other again hug and the end.

Me too was waiting for it and it did not disappoint lol chicken girl was trembling so much she couldn’t even see she was walking right into a rock. YQ literally sat her butt down on the floor.

Sorry saw and h and my mind saw red swear the H has an X on my alphabet right now nothing good can come from them right now. but that is another one that I think is hanging by a very thin thread. I think he just sent her away to some dangerous place to see if she can stop being so idle.

If they add the epilogue into the drama he should come back to life with the help of the ghost god and live in wotong island with feng yin and their daughter who I have to say based on the description seems an awful lot like Ayin in her very early years boy crazy and always playing around which drives him crazy. he seems to be running around chasing his daughter and asking for his wife’s help in finding his precious daughter. You know the saying those who don’t want soup get 2 servings lol he could barely keep up with one Ayin and he is going to have 2 at the end.

I am not going to lie I got such a kick out of YQ putting the chicken in her place he literally had her squirming on her knees lol. She thought she could bully him into submission she had another thing coming now that he knows she lied about saving him all those years and that she punished Ayin using his name which caused her death by his hand. He is done being her carpet. Loved the way she recoiled the moment he told her he’d just as easily take the acting heavenly empress position and hand it over to a more deserving party. the only thing keeping her alive is his respect for lang feng or she’d be chicken stew right about now.

I swear that meddler aunt has in a way been part of the cause of YQ calamity. If she had not meddled Ayin wouldn’t have been in more than half the dangers she was in ergo YQ would not have had to give away all his life force. You really could build a case that the only reason there in this mess is in large part cause of her meddling behind. She needs to be demoted and sent down to face some calamity’s of her own so she won’t be so idle like YQ said.

Oh I doubt he respects her the only thing keeping her alive is YQ respect for lang feng. Otherwise I am pretty certain he would have blown her up into little feathers.

I am sorry to say that in the novel that last fight is what completely decimates him. He uses the last bit of his soul thru the body of his Devine sword to seal the gate of purgatory that was being opened by the devil king. In this way saving the world and fang yin who is part of the world. Boy just doesn’t know that he really only knows how to act like his father. During the time that he is using his last bit of strength feng yin is in her own battle with the peacock king and his spawn. By the time YQ dissipates they can all feel him use the last bit of his power. She goes to where he was and sees that he has dispersed and can’t believe it because sealing the gate should not have been enough to cause him to dispersed. Which would be true if he had not already lost his god spirit and had not been using his chaos power to bring back all the daze mountain disciples for a 1000 years. Because in actuality YQ had actually died 1000 years ago when he used his chaos power to bring them all back and what is walking around right now is actually a piece of his soul using his divine sword body. I am not sure how they will do it here because it kind of looks like she gets to know that he has done this before the final battle. Also based on a few clips I have seen it does look like the battles will be combined so that she will be present the moment he finally uses all his soul up. Which I get for dramatic effect it makes the most sense.

So true although I think the way they are doing it in the drama she will know before it actually happens so she gets to talk to the soul piece attached to the sword where as in the novel she totally did not know until he had completely dispersed and all that was left was his body at daze mountain and even that disappeared the moment she touched him.

Yeah ironic that the one person he wants is the one he is running from unknowingly. I find it sad. guy left his ghost almost just so she can vent her anger at him. I really hope they added the epilogue parts because honestly how sad is it going to be for her to find out all the while he was already gone so long ago.

I find it really sad that a widow is asking for a divorce not even knowing she’s been widowed for a 1000 years already. If you know you know.

When you take a real look at it he is just emulating dads behavior they are both the type to hurt and act all by themselves even if it means dying alone and in the most hurtful way possible without even being able to voice the love of they have for the women in their life. I can’t even blame him too much as that is what he saw growing up. He was for all intents and purposes abandoned by his parents for the sake of the world so instead of being able to be angry and resentful for the abandonment he can’t even voice his anger he keeps everything inside because he also feels bad for them so he feels like he doesn’t even have the right to vent. He never wanted to be a true god because he sees the sacrifice it entails. Being a true good means that the world comes before the self and he was not wrong. He knew the moment his seal was broken he would no longer have the right to his own happiness just like his parents before him. The moment his seal broke everyone and their mother wanted a piece of him. Unfortunately he is not infinite and there are not that many pieces of him to go around and fix everything. We will know how true this is in the coming episodes I am sure.

I don’t think he is weak per say but he is stretching himself pretty thin and he is also very young as far as being a true god goes, wasn’t bai ju like 70,000 years old and his mother was also no spring chicken by the time she had to actually use her chaos power to save the world. Shangu had to go nurture her chaos power before she could actually be chief god. GJ is barely out of his diapers as far as a true god goes and he’s is trying to bring immortals back to life. Besides all of them pretty much go boom when they use their chaos power. shangu and bai ju both dispersed instantly. He does seem to be taking his time to disperse.

I believe that they changed his parents name for copyright issue but they are the same characters. This story is happening during the time shangu is kneeling in front of god waiting for bai ju to return. And yes GJ is grown up by the time bai ju returns. I believe he last saw his mother when she started kneeling in front of god and when bai ju returns he is not there to greet his father. Instead he has been down in the immortal world growing up and going thru this calamity. This to me is very sad as he literally had to grow up without either of them and feeling abandoned but not voicing it because he’s father did do it for the sake of the world and his mother is grieving for his father. so he feels bad for them both so I am sure he resents feeling abandoned in those circumstances. He resents being a true god because that means your first responsibility is to the world so in turn being with him was not his parents first responsibility. So he does not want that to be his destiny but he unfortunately has no real choice in the matter as he was born a true god.
