Lol, I love your second point. The worst in their marriage already happened, the divorce. They got over it. What's…
exactly they can't be acting strangers again right..I mean idk if people will agree or not but exaggeration of lovey-dovey moments sometimes bores me..for eg: king the land
I believe YES's last actions and end were his character arc. It could have gone in two ways, turning a new leaf…
i liked this one better prison to me wouldn't be as big because more than his crime people hated him for his obsession so dying in front of her and hyunwoo was more satisfying
I've been defending this drama again & again but it makes me feel annoyed man..
1. People saying Soo cheol was stupid to accept Da-hye..guess what? this is what happens when you just love someone unconditionally..not everyone is perfect around you but sometimes you need that imperfect person who makes you feel happy..there existence is enough for you..they had their own share for perfect ending too
2. More of the leads towards the end: guys this couple was already married 3 years that was the plot it began with so all those twinkling moments technically happened before marriage..after you're married it's more of a responsibility and care..do i need to explain..IN HOW MANY WAYS HYUNWOO HAS SHOWED THAT?!
3. Yes it's more of a melodrama..yes it had the basic plot but why is it still charting? ask yourself
4. Eun seong plot needed to end early: why? if you don't like villian's because you feel annoyed watching them..you need to know they're the one who make you hungry for the leads..otherwise you will be the first one..oh it was predicted not to mention it's a (15+) so you basically knew everything after the villian died or got prisoned early ..
5. Miscarriage: what? it happens without a plan..it got the screentime it deserved.
6. Marriage issues: SIMPLE MISCOMMUNICATION..it wasn't about how they grew apart it was about how they went back to each other.
Lastly i'd just say except the way it is being presented to you and don't downgrade the writer..they're way more aware of how our brain works than you think and accept the script the actors took they wouldn't take any random shit..and yeah JUST REMEMBER IT'S A FICTION
To all the people complaining over here let me just tell you THIS WAS THE BEST ROMCOM/ MELODRAMA in these recent months or I'd say years..people are always complaining about the writing bro if you watched this show all together everything would've fitted perfectly... instead of finding THE LOGICS sit down and just watch and enjoy... to me all my questions were answered. it was the perfect ending. YOU'RE USED TO NORMAL HAPPY ENDINGS BUT THIS IS THE REAL ENDING EVERY PERSON WHO IS IN LOVE WANTS because this basically showed that THEY GREW OLD TOGETHER instead of claiming to grow old..the whole point of this show was how can a married couple who claimed to be with each other but fell apart and how they realised that they need each other to grow old and they did..I Loved all the characters and probably gonna miss it for some time but yeah the acting was phenomenol...the chemistry was top-notch, the cinematography was purely beautiful..the emotions were raw..and to the people hating on YES bro instead hate his MOTHER..she made him the devil to point he went psychotic for love and neverthless..I LOVED EVERYTHING >>>
update: I read somewhere in the comments that at the end Hae-in is actually an angel who came to pick Hyun-woo now that it's time for him to leave this earth just made me emotional..and now i can clearly say THIS IS BEST ENDING I'VE EVER SEEN. imagine everything that hae-in randomly manifested came true at the end and then i see people just talking shit about is actually ruining it's reputation
The last episodes of this show were beyond pathetic. YES literally served no purpose in this show except to make…
are you naturally dumb or you just pretending to be? BRO YES EXISTENCE WAS BECAUSE OF HAE-IN..the moment he saw them together despite all the things he has been doing so that he can be with her but still she chose hyunwoo over him and he died witnessing hyunwoo taking the bullet is the biggest tragedic ending for him..PRISON? as if his life was better
PLUS I also want to say this to the people saying accident, Eun seong being at the hospital and even the last bullet scene are unnecessary are just stupid to me..I get it you came here for the leads but for goddam reasons there is something called antagonistic character development..your HATE TOWARDS YES shows how great actor he is and the last scene gave me goosebumps because I HAVEN'T SEEN A STRONG VILLIAN CHARACTER for so long and lord the way he was still asking Hae-in to come with him despite all those cops surrounding him was epitome level of acting HE PROBABLY TO ME IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER OF THIS DRAMA besides the leads obviously those plot twists were eventually a built up for his character and not for the leads according to me because you need a proper story of the villian as well otherwise you would've ended up not giving attention to it..for eg. Strong girl Namsoon is a great example of how lacking villian character build up could eventually lead to people liking it..you gotta hate it man!
