We finally got the obligatory Sponge Bath after the main lead almost dies bc of the rain. And gosh this turned into La Pluie 2.0 with all of those damn flashbacks!!😮💨
Besides that HSM3 "TRRROOOOYYYYY" scene recreation-
this was pretty meh. Kinda boring and empty, with so many wasted scenes especially considering how much of a turning point this episode is supposed to be! It's better than the last episode but they still didn't really give us much of an impact; the style's giving me slight filler ep vibes?? And why was Max (JJ) sitting next to Auto and Sailom when there was the whole of the bleachers to sit on?? Ik Max is the most tolerant of Kang's trio but still what was the reason besides having them all in one convenient frame. Ik it's a little thing but I really did not expect Sailom to be so petty as to not give Kang a free water when everyone else on the team got one; seems out of character and didn't seem right to me. Doesn't sit right. I mean PerthChimon really do have the chemistry together but this isn't doing a great job of utilizing or showcasing it yet. This episode was really lacking the impact that it should've had! But at least that kiss was certainly well done; especially considering the circumstances and what they had to work with. You can tell that PerthChimon really have a great understanding of their characters and where the story storytelling is going.
Does the format and more‐or‐less content change after the first episode? Because I really enjoyed YYY the series but that first episode of essentially s2 was not it..

God we're so desperate😫 and this is why I don't normally follow along with their Qs and filming process, so I don't go through the torturous "will they, won't they" process; but how could I not with our first gmmtv GL?
Look at me desperately grasping at straws by thinking that maybe they haven't released a trailer for whatever's replacing HA- and that they won't until a couple days before the empty slot actually coming up with air time (so like a week after HA's finale)- because it's almost October aka lineup month... Maybe they're waiting to give us more official crumbs?.. Do you see me failing here 😔 I'll be clinging onto my theoretical yet logical schedule like Rose onto that damn door at the end of Titanic. At least until there's any official statements.

I meannn... I beg to differ, it is unfortunately gmmtv fashion but yeah I get what you're saying and it sucks. It should be a grand shebang of an opening but considering there hasn't been any profit for GLs (BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN IT A CHANCE BY RELEASING IT YET) then it's less so of a priority. They know that BLs especially with big names attached, equals easy money. I'm sure that once they see 23.5 blow up and all of the potential that comes with the GL numbers, they'll give future GLs more thought and the "royal treatment". And thank you for the pets, I'm really needing it with how things seem to be turning out *trying to hold it together* ❤️❤️

This probably won't make any of us feel better (bc ik we're looking forward to LT too) but 2019, 2021 and 2023 all started off with P'Aof's directorials coming first thing in the new year. The later two years because of delays (idk about He's Coming to Me, I wasn't in the bl sphere and that's too far for me to go back) so maybe LT will follow suite? But do I want that? ughnbcdd. Who am I kidding, if all of the actors' estimates are correct and nothing gets delayed then 23.5 will surely be the scapegoat😭. Love Senior just might *sobbing* but at least well have those 5 episodes of Lucky My Love in October? Which series is supposed to have 16 episodes? 23.5? Love Senior?? LT??? I hate not knowing; I'm still trying to manifest my theory. But just watch them schedule another damn rerun after HA🥲. Imma have a big case of Denial if my theory isn't even remotely correct, but I'm kinda glad that I'm not complete alone in my delusions😣🙃
