...a mark of a good story is how invested everyone gets, right? Leading to heated debate and flying emotions.…
Aha I love your positivity! Normal I'm a pretty "glass half full" person who can see the logic but chooses to focus on the good present but a lot of people's responses have got me questioning my fellow human beings lol😆
Wait, when did Phat say Tai was holding back? It sounds familiar, but no way am I watching that episode again,…
In the beginning of the episode when they just get into Phat's apartment. I know that it's also not an uncommon BL trope, which always leaves a sour taste in my mouth no matter how healthy and loving the relationship is but Phat has the pattern of wanting to get to the sex and it's weird. If it was mutual horniness then cool, go ahead but even their first kiss he was stripping off his shirt while makingout with a wasted Tai who'd soon pass out. It's been kind of an underlying thing that was making me uncomfortable because they're in love; can't they just chill and kiss and be affectionate without Tai having to pull on the breaks in some way or another? Shouldn't they have both been aware and tuned into how their partner was feeling and reacting!
Finally someone with some logic and perspective! A little of my faith has been returned after seeing that at least…
Exactly! I know that it's the writing but there are so many instances that Phat could've had some faith in his bf and/or take a pause to use some maturity. Instead he chose to jump to conclusions, dismiss what Tai was trying to tell him (in person) and chose the more controlling route that makes the bigger scene. I watched the whole episode without reading the comments and only after came to read them after being sure of how I'd felt about the episode. I was astonished to find out that this was the uncommon opinion. I know that a lot of people might not have had to go through the experience of a tricky and toxic relationships that required you to understand, develop and utilize a higher EQ but I was truly astonished to see just how much of a minority we were. I even had to take a couple of days off before answering all the replies in my notifications just be quadruple check that I wasn't the crazy one. A relationship takes two people to make it work but it also takes two people (the people in the coupling) to let it crumble. When someone's your significant other, they are your parnter; it's a partnership and you both need to want to mend it and come to a happy medium. You need maturity, self awareness, communication and patience as there'll most definitely be issues that arise in the future. Some people are thinking that we're writing off Tai and picking on Phat but regardless of Tai's lie, which he had reasons for- that again his older bf should've inquired about- Phat still didn't try to hold up his end of "making the relationship work" instead lashing out while blinded by emotions.
Hello ep 12??Did I miss something, but when did they released ep 11😒
People paying (on whichever platform it's on), have early access to the finale aka ep12. We will be getting ep11 when they'll be getting ep12. I'm not sure if they've gotten early access to ep11 too or if both of the finale two episodes are getting released at the same time for the payed memberships.
I talk and write a lot and like to use colorful language... Can you believe that I tried my hardest to cut it down and that *this* is the shorter version of my notes🤭😆🫣
...a mark of a good story is how invested everyone gets, right? Leading to heated debate and flying emotions.…
Yeah I was gonna say that I can't decide if the vast array of opinions is based off of good writing... or bad writing😅 Good bc there's so much passion and obviously people are connecting to the different characters in different ways, or if it's bad because there isn't more of a solid stance on their characters' traits. Everything's up to interpretation but this is so extreme that it's very interesting. Like the crazed engagement is good but should the chaos have had a slightly tighter net? Lmfao
I don’t get everyone hating on Tai right now. I mean yes, he did lie and it was a low move on his part, we agree,…
Finally someone with some logic and perspective! A little of my faith has been returned after seeing that at least 10 people also agree with your opinion because apparently it's an unpopular opinion. I especially like how you emphasized that Lomfon is a kid/young adult (19/20) compared to Phat who's 27 and has a fully developed brain and supposed world view! It can be easy to misconstrue and forget that because the actors are all around their mid-twenties! Definitely unfair to compare the two on the exact same level but even if you did, Phat's actions are still worse.
The phrase means that if Patts can't understand WHY Tai is silent, he's not capable of understanding whatever…
That's true, the silent treatment doesn't work and frankly it's an immature tactic/approach but I'm thinking that Tai meant it as in he needed more time to sit with, collect and understand his own feelings before arguing with a still very emotional Phat. Tai's handling it really well! Multiple truth bombs dropped on him: Lomfon can hear him in the rain, might be his soulmate, Phat knew about it and kept it from him, Lomfon's feelings for him were confirmed, he'd saved Lomfon's life 2 years ago and Phat has anger issues and a side of him in which Tai didn't know he possessed. That's a hell of a lot to findout within a literal minute- oh yeah and he severed their soulmate connections lmao!
For Tai, having to choose between Phat and Lomfon, just bc of a telepathic connection, wasn't even an option; he loves Phat and it's so totally reasonable that he's offended at the accusation and ultimatum. It was super mature of him to decide for them to rehash this out after their emotions settle down bc I'm sure seeing his bf like this is scary as well. Lots of information for him to process and I think he'd need more than a couple of hours! In his anger, Phat isn't listening to him or his reasonings, he's also gaslighting Tai making him believe he's the unreasonable one and demanding an answer right away. There's lot more at play here than the simple Phat or Lomfon.
I feel like a lot of people (ironically) misunderstood the phrase "If you can't understand my silence, you won't…
@winmyheart Well said!! I feel like the realism of the characters depth was lost on a lot of people whom are looking for someone to hold up as the "good guy" and the "bad guy" when they're all flawed. You just have to try and understand their mindsets and why they are acting like such.
Just finished ep10, it took me a while to finish it. Here are my notes on it: I'm so excited for some LomfonTian development, even if it has to be painful and angsty first... Interesting- a hell of a lot of angst. Tbh I'm way more invested in LomfonTian's story rn than PhatSaengtai's. Poor Tian, it hurts and I'm so sad for him to confess like that. But from Lomfon's POV it really is torturous to be so confused about yourself without any relief in sight. Idk the thing with PhatSaengtai is that there's no in-between with them. Can't they just makeout? Why does there always seem to be pressure for more? Can't they just enjoy each other's company and affection? I get horniness but why's Phat always saying stuff about holding back? It's not cute or attractive but rather icky. It's odd however there have been a few things about Phat that have been grey flags to me but I've been chalking it up to personal preference since it seemed to be working for them in their relationship and interactions. Tbh PhatSaengtai are cute and have good chemistry but it's just that; they're good for fluff but when it comes to other emotions or angst, I don't really care what happens to them... LomfonTian on the other hand, is so good; their low-keyness and the way they're interacting!! Tian's fully aware of his feelings for Lomfon but instead of acting on them, he's surprisingly mature about it and is just observing how it's making him feel; no pursuing of his feelings in any way. Lomfon on the other hand is obviously just a very confused kid, who's frustrated, doesn't know who to turn to or what to do. Their scenes together this ep are so captivating!! THEY should been the main characters and I hope that the actors get paired up as the MLs in a future BL drama. I adored Tian's little facial expressions when thoughtfully considering Lomfon's odd questions. Both actors, Copter and Suar's performances were fantastic and I cannot stress enough how much of a pleasant surprise it is. They so much potential. Wtf why is Phat so toxic?? His reaction to Tai being "busy with work" was a little off, more than just bummed or disappointed; it was portrayed as almost possessive. Phat getting so defensive and borderline aggressive when this kid- Lomfon's should be 20 now with the hearing loss, while Phat is 27- informs him of this peculiar thing that's happened to him. There's no entitlement, taunting or malice in his statement, just that he heard Tai when they were on the mountain and he thinks he's also his soulmate; that's the only explanation right? Tbh it sounds like he's just a confused kid looking for advice from a phi but this only activates Phat's insecurity and smth dark in him. Soulmate ≠ owning someone and we know that he knows that bc in the beginning Phat wanted to opt for pursuing Tai rather than his soulmate. Knowing Tai and his familial problems, Tai actually chose to give Phat a chance DESPITE their soulmate connection not because of it! There's always room for insecurities but it should be fairly clear, that logically, Tai's with Phat bc of who he is and not what he is to him. Phat's acting like he's attacked and like Saengtai's already been stolen. That possessiveness is dangerous especially since they've just started dating. And oh god his vet friends don't seem much better; Saengtai's a young adult at 22 but Phat and the vets are fully grown and adjusted adults all above the age of 25 so this is ridiculous and so unrealistic/unreasonable for any sane person. Why are they so nosey? Don't they have anything better to do? This is like the DSN or the Nitiman's trope of overly invested side characters except sm more dangerous. I get that Phat's invested and his judgment could be clouded- which isn't an excuse- but why are his buddies also like that? They're acting as if Saengtai's not allowed to have friends! Even if Phat had told them that Tai was busy during the weekend, it's still none of their business.. Lomfon could've been helping Saengtai with the article for all they know; that's really toxic creepy shit right there. And it's very telling that the friend called Tai "His (Phat's) cat". As if he's his asset. Sure it's bad that Tai lied to his bf, that's not a good place to build their relationship off of but there should also be space in the relationship for him to feel safe enough to tell the truth in which Tai obviously didn't feel, on some level. While it's not great what he'd done, he doesn't owe it to anyone, even Phat to tell him exactly what he's doing at every moment! He's allowed to have friends even if his bf doesn't like them; there needs to be trust and communication over those worries as they need to be voiced. Lomfon possibly being another one of Tai's soulmates doesn't automatically give Lomfon any claim over Tai! It sucks that his bf lied to him and Phat's entitled to be upset but the next logical step is for them to talk it out, in-person at a later time. Instead Phat rushes to the scene and displays control issues, possessiveness and anger issues which can be a slippery slope into abusive behaviour. Totally inappropriate and massive red flags for smth so small!! As for Tai, I think that so far he's handling it well; he likes Lomfon (as a FRIEND), they share interests and he is grateful for him being such a good peer to Tian and you can see that he's aware of the grey area that Lomfon might be trying to teeter into with his potential crush but he made a promise and is following through and seeing how it goes before jumping to conclusions. He's giving the boy a chance instead of right away writing him off completely. He's treating him like a human, as an individual and has not crossed any of the platonic/romantic boundaries. Ngl the relationship drama's turning this show's genre into a thriller horror-qsue vibes... I mean if they're gonna turn this shit into a thriller and that was the plot twist then I applaud them but I have the strong feeling that they're just gonna brush this toxicity off and try to give PhatSaengtai a happy ending. Which would be unacceptable. Phat's entitlement is so strong! I can't stand how the show is trying to frame him as the good guy; please show, don't TELL. Oh no I'd tried to believe Tai and give him the benefit of the doubt but he lied so then I'm gonna jump to conclusions! It's as if they're gaslighting the viewers into thinking that Tai is bringing this upon himself. It was also really odd that everybody- Tian, Bow and even their dad- gave Phat the good ol' thumbs up of approval and trust after knowing the guy for 5 minutes. What a good guy! What a good evaluation of a whole ass person! I find it hilarious that Lomfon considers the stranger aka Tai to be his first love lmfao. It's ridiculous and oh so stupid but oh god does it align with how teenagers and children (can) think. It's immaturity, stubbornness and just not being able to fully wrap your head around the bigger reality of the world that exists outside of yourself. It sounds almost as if the idealization could've been a safety blanket sort of thing to hold onto, for a kid to believe that there's areason he belongs in this world: that he matters. So Tai's in shock, and Lomfon acted on impulse without thinking after learning that Tai was the keychain owner. He knew right away that what he'd done was wrong, it's apparent on his face and he apologizes; there, that's the end of it. Or it should be, if neither of them want to/decide to pursue the possibility of a relationship. Phat can get upset, Tai can get upset since he was unconsentually kissed, Tian can be upset and Lomfon can be upset at himself and feel guilty. Done, now you can move on! How can Phat and Lomfon hear each other while punching/being punched in the rain??. They've explained that both Lomfon and Phat can hear Tai and that Tai can hear both of them BUt what about the two in the physical (one-way) fight?! Wtf. The boys, bc Phat's acting like a child and a dangerous one at that, can hear each other. They're yelling and responding to each other as the rain is pouring down so are their heads just up their asses or did the thought of Lomfon and Phat also being soulmates, just fly right over their heads?? Also are we forgetting that soulmates can be platonic as well? Probably? Ok. What are the odds that these three boys who have this incredibly rare hearing loss disease, are gay AND are attracted to one of the other two in their weird triangle *sighs* lol. I like that; the main character says fuck this and swears off destiny and it actually works. Honestly I'm really hoping that this ends up with Saengtai being alone. He doesn't NEED a significant other and was content with how things were beforehand. Looks like he was right about the whole soulmate thing being bullshit... I hope that they're bringing that full circle and then just leaving it there; you don't need anyone else to complete you *boom* message sent! You can choose who you are and who you want to spend time with, you don't have to let destiny or feelings get in the way of what you know you want. I don't see why people are complaining about Tai in the comments, he's actually handling all of this really well. There were multiple truth bombs dropped on him today: Lomfon can hear him in the rain & might be his soulmate, Phat knew about it and kept it from him, Lomfon's feelings for him were finally confirmed, he'd apparently saved Lomfon's life 2 years ago and Phat has massive anger issues and a side of him in which Tai didn't know he possessed. That's a hell of a lot to findout within a literal minute- oh yeah and he severed their soulmate connections that's gonna take some time to process. For Tai, having to choose between Phat and Lomfon, just bc of a telepathic connection, wasn't even an option. He loves Phat and it's so completely reasonable that he's offended at the accusation and ultimatum. It was super mature of him to decide for them to rehash this out after their emotions have settle down bc I'm sure seeing his bf like this is scary/jarring as well. In the midst of his anger, Phat isn't listening to him or his reasonings; he's also trying to gaslight Tai into believing that he's the unreasonable one. Phat's not just demanding an answer, but the answer that he wants to hear. Unfortunately Phat has a bunch of issues, with a capital "I". Definitely lots of unresolved trauma, probably childhood attachment issues from the looks of the way he breaks down asking why it's so hard to say he chooses him. He needs therapy bc obviously at 27 he hasn't even attempted to do the work. Saengthian's gonna kill me; and from their previous convo, it seems like Lomfon's aware of his feelings for Tian. CopterSuar's acting is SO good! Lomfon's expressing his frustration, confusion and disappointment and the words just keep flowing out. You could see that as soon as he'd said the "wth does it have to do with you" that he knew he'd fucked up, even before Tian's reaction/response was shown. The guilt, realization and regret, the "fuck, I'm the asshole" look was very prominent. Later on, I'd like confirmation on if he'd previously put together his own feelings for Tian or not so that it's not just implied. I actually didn't hate that ending.... IF Phat and Tai don't end up together. Then it'd be a story of growth instead of a romance and I'd actually really like that! Does Phat have a key to Tai's place? Bc if so, homeboy needs to change his locks asap. I was so uncomfortable with the fact that Phat's just breaking down while still in Saengtai's house after Tai closed the door on him and obviously didn't want him there. I'm glad that Tai was able to recognize and make the hard decision right away especially since this is his first relationship. If Phat doesn't respect his need for space rn then it's not gonna work but it was worded weirdly in the subs. I think it probably was more so like: "If you can't understand why I need my space right now, then you're not going to understand my words either." Which is super valid. There was definitely a humongous lack of trust and respect in their relationship on Phat's side before said breakup. I loved how you could see the switch in Tai as soon as Phat has another violent outburst because now it's not just a reaction in the heat of the moment; it's starting to become a pattern. One that you might not wanna find out where it ends. And all the while you can still see that Tai is still suffering with the hard emotions but the decision is still made: that's that. He has enough self worth to not put up with what it really is, disrespect and a lack of faith in his partner; and that's SO nice to see on screen!! I hope to hell that it stays that way. Phat, oh god he's immature and confused. Totally called the attachment issues thing though! "Who do you want me to be for you to love me?", "Do I need to look like Lomfon? " GOD DAMN. Issues is too light of a statement to describe what's going on in that mind of that character. Lots of tangled logic! Love does not need to be earned by morphing into whatever the other person wants; that's simply not how it works. Or at least in a healthy functional relationship.
are there only 13 Q's in the whole show? we already have the official trailer and the airing date but normally…
Yeah I honestly don't have any idea. Q's are usually filming locations/sections from my understanding so maybe it has less Qs because it's a university BL.. so it's all filming relatively at the same place? Who knows.. Dunk did however write in his insta broadcast that "That's a wrap" but who knows what he was talking about since there was no context. A wrap of Q13 lol? GMMTV has been pretty speedy (or rushed, however you wanna see it) with it's filmings and releases this year because when the first episode of Our Sky2 was being released, they were still filming a few of the later episodes. My gut feeling though is that Only Friends will have a lot more Qs than HA regardless of if it is done filming or not as there are so many more characters and plotline in OF aha; it's gonn get messy!😁 But there will be empty airing slots coming up so we can only hope it comes out soon🙏
Don't hate on me but this totally sounds like a fever dream sequence and I can't take it seriously.... However, I will be sticking around to read what people think of it when it starts airing lmfao I'm very curious
I'm SO excited for this one! Tbh it's really high on my most anticipated releases of 2023 list... except it also isn't, because I just know that it's gonna break my heart and make me sob. It's gonna hurt and that part, I'm not excited for. But it looks so good and it's JimmySea and P'Aof!! JimmySea are so underrated❤️ and they both really stepped up their acting abilities in OS2 so I can't wait to see their progression and how working with P'Aof will shape them.

I guess we'll get to see Ja as a puppy dog omg lol
