They could very well become an official couple in the near future, especially with the repeated projects together but as of right now, they aren't.
For GMMTV specifically, being official means that for BL/GL they'll be paired together. Official pairings get their own custom logo, couples merch (not to be mixed up with series merch in which they are a couple. Ie: PondPhuwin merch vs We Are merch), they'll have more promo events together, the same manager to make that easier and most recently, they'll get to create their own mascot. For merch purposes ofc. The mascot thing is new though, just from this past year so technically not *all* of their official pairings have them, however, it is expected for each couple to get one eventually. SeaKeen and OhmLeng are the most recent ones and I'm assuming NamtanFilm should be getting theirs soon!
So basically, long story short, they're marketed differently from GMMTV's normal artists. Their ship is a "product" to sell so there's much more content and stuff since GMMTV invests so much money into them. Fanmeets and concert with the ship couples (aka LOL Fest, etc..), as well as a basically guaranteed main lead series every year or two to keep them relevant.

It was a bit of a slow start with the first episode, but my gosh does it just keep getting better by the episode. I'm fully seated- there's no ifs or buts about it! Sure it's messy but it's also nuanced, human and makes sense with the characters that have already been establish. I'm also loving all the cute side couples

We currently don't know which production company actually has the rights for that adaptation so who knows?
Last year, people were convinced with a theory that gmmtv had the rights to Irresistible (by the same author as Pluto and Us) but that one didn't show up at the last three line up events either
Enemies With Benefits was the novel adaptation that was rumored for MilkLove but if gmmtv doesn't have the rights then MilkLove couldn't have chosen that project even if they wanted to

MDL uses the network TV rating which is for the cut version and is rated 13+. While obviously the uncut version, which the vast majority of people are watching, is uncut and 18+ lol.
