If we don't get it in February, hopefully we'll get it within the next cycle or two of shows. Out of all 9 delayed shows from 2023's lineup, there's only Beauty Newbie left in front of 23.5. BN's filming is currently on Q35 and is nearing the end of filming so if the order provided at Part One's lineup is anything to go by (they've followed the order exactly for the first 6 titles of the 9) hopefully it'll become a priority for GMMTV sooner rather than later. https://twitter.com/oishiepelhani/status/1714236741111120370?t=ahtQJPFdIDN5FkzR3Pn60g&s=19
I like the thought behind that theory but I honestly don't think they're that invested in the marketing or how 23.5 will be recieved; if they did, they'd be building the actresses up and starting the momentum of advertising the soon to be released show. There's so much they could do without actually giving us the trailer or posters. I mean even if they'd postponed the series release AGAIN then at least give us a press conference to update us. They do press conferences for the most stupid shit- I remember that one of their actors had to do a press event addressing and apologizing for a photo that was found and circulated of him and his friend. Who is female. Just pals chilling; it was actually a group picture but someone cropped everyone else out. It was ridiculous but they'd scheduled that press event within 24 hour!- the least they could do is let us know that they see us and haven't forgotten about the series or their actors. Sorry lol.... rant done
I think so. Otherwise scenes start and scenes end so abruptly. And some dialogues don't make sense because you…
Yes, the editing and dialogues make much more sense in the uncut version. The editing isn't perfect but definitely a lot smoother and a better experience aha
Yes, in my opinion it very much does. It gives more insight and a bit character development individually and relationship wise, but then again I'm someone who's more drawn to character driven stories than plot. For me, it raises my rating almost a star higher. It's definitely not perfect but the story and characters flow a lot better than in the cut version. I also found the characters and relationships more likeable which made the show more enjoyable for me lol
Unfortunately, it is kinda working for me.... and I'm willing to give FortPeat another shot
That's fair lmao. DSN was a mess but I've seen a few of her recent stuff and they're decent while also seemingly getting a bit better and less sus/non-consentual with each passing series so imma give it a chance
I adored this series and it's still a phenomenal series but for me, the ending fell quite flat and flopped. I love the first half of ep12 but the tone in the second half of the episode was really off, it felt too contrived and polished in contrast with the rest of the series. The color grading editing was also way over the top which made it seem like they'd all died and gone to heaven, it was a little too perfect. I'm not saying I wanted a sad ending, I just wish the finale was more cohesive with what they'd laid out previously! They honestly could've even kept the same story ending, however making it less like a forced dreamlike state. I just finished the finale a couple of hours ago and my thoughts are still jumbled so maybe I'll write something that's a bit better layed out with some more constructive criticism in a different comment later but for now, this is where my brain's at:
**unsatisfied** I wish I'd have skipped part 4/4 of ep12 **FRUSTRATION** They should've ended it at the wedding taste testings, it would've been a bit abrupt but could've been molded into a vague hopeful open ending. Or better yet, Mhok or Day dances with Mee at the wedding- so that we get to see her character a bit more- and when the song's done, Mhok then requests the Palm's Distance song. He approaches Day, extends a hand and asks him if he would like to dance with him. Happy, nervous and hopeful vibes with an open ending insinuation- Day is surprised; he hesitates, thinking and then gives a small smile. BOOM screen goes black, The End. That's my rewritten ending; the actual ending can be seen as a vague theorized headcanon.

I miss them and we haven't even started with 23.5 yetðŸ˜
