Oh thanks for the clarification; geez I've had it wrong in my head for months! That makes sense that it was filming for the pilot trailer, idk why that didn't occur to me lol. I think I had that in my mind because they'd said it was a "replacement" series and 23.5 had just started filming so I assumed they'd try to have both projects release for the same timeframe. But I'm glad that they're taking their time with this adaptation as that's what the story and the actors deserve, for it to be done justice!

The duo that we didn't know that we needed! I'm ashamed to say that I had no idea who Namtan was before watching the Pluto trailer (I'd seen Film in Not Me) but after seeing her skills in Last Twilight, omg I'm so much more pumped and confident that they'll both kill it. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that everything production quality wise will be good so that their abilities and their ship can really shine!

Their promotional material specifically for Cooking Crush- and sometimes LT bc of JimmySea, the poor forgotten child of gmmtv- is especially bad compared to whatever they usually do.

I was just on Playboyy's page yesterday bc I was checking out all of the airing shows that I'm not currently watching (even tho I specifically don't have any interest in watching Playboyy) and last time I checked the rating was at 8.7 lmfao.

I get you. What I'm thinking is that least there's the opportunity for all four main couple to get screentime. From the behind-the-scenes photos, it at least looks cute and fluffy; enough for people to make *actually good* edits... no matter how the series turns out.

Yeah there is and if you are watching Cooking Crush right now then you should watch the uncut version; it really adds a lot of understanding to the characters. There's only two episodes out right now but I think the uncut episodes each have about 10 extra minutes than the version on YouTube. The uncut version is only on WeTV (Thailand and Indonesia) so unfortunately if you don't have access to those you need to go through less legal grey sites..
I just checked CC's uncut page again and it's resting at a 7.8 stars right now but I swear earlier it was at a 8.3 which had me perplexed 😆. The page rating keeps fluctuating like crazy which I think is do to the dual pages💀

Yeah, at least for me! I think I rated the first episode an 8.5 and then my rating for the 2nd episode leaped to a 10 stars. We're currently 4eps in and going strong! And mind you, I don't give 10 out of 10s very often. I think I've only ever given 4 titles that honour lol.

I mean no pressure to pick it up again; sometimes you just wanna rant or express your opinion on a page like this and there's nothing that'll make you pick the title back up (I've been there!). But some other times, because I know that sometimes when I drop things, I'm still kinda on the fence and curious so I thought I'd just let you know in case that's where you were standing. At this point in time, at least personally, the Last Twilight continues to defy my expectations and amaze me with each episode.

January 8th!

I was leaning more so to the abusive side since Ten already seems to have a um rocky relationship with his dad. Like he could just be stuborn and petty asf but not eating the whole day to spite your father because you didn't want to eat breakfast with him? That's intense shit. Plus the way he reacts to being touched- at the supermarket- imo seems to be more fear based than just uncomfortability. The glances from the maid/cook between Ten and his dad and just the look she gives Ten in general reads as empathy and pity to me; however I haven't rewatched any of the eps yet.
We've also seen those clips with Ten's dad where he snaps at him and slaps him *hard* so that's what it's adding up to for me. But it could also just be the all too normalized approach of the older asian generation and how they'd raised their kids... but you know extra pissed dad edition. In all fairness, if my future- adult- son had spent $2000 on an amateur cooking lesson for ONE dish, I'd also be pissed. That by no means makes the reaction we'll be getting okay.

I honestly don't think that they'll make Off's character on the autism spectrum especially in a comedy comedy. If they were to do it, I feel like gmm would be more mindful of the story considering how well thought out and handled their previous projects are with topics that are typically looked down upon societal wise. They've been so on point with the respect and awareness in their portrayals of humanizing the experiences of being blind and deaf.

I felt the same way. My current top 5 BLs are My School President, Moonlight Chicken, Last Twilight, KinnPorsche (of course) and Not Me. They're all are pretty different but are so high quality, production wise, story wise, character wise and acting wise!
