Honestly, the only Logical explanation I can think of is she used her husbands name of the character that died in her novel because he is no longer who he was before? like personality development? which is why wudi takes his place ,Idk but it does make you question everything like was everything in the novel based on real events or? I know she said it never happened to her but...
