Writer craving for happy ending, in preview seems that ML going to some kind of small hospital after coming back from US instead of focusing his father business and FL seeing in the van. The twin brother plot so many uncessary things, even ML and FL relationship kind of bad from the start. SML and SFL might be couple in the end, FL friend and twin brother priest couple. Writer want to happy ending for everyone. Nothing seems good in this episode other than some meaningless dialogues of main leads and EP 16 has not better even after happy ending.
Last minute uncessary misunderstanding and separation its very bad for the story. They tried to show two leads true love, but their love is true or not? It's doubt as a viewer before finale episode. They have miscommunication and ML didn't attend the wedding of his and Feng Jiu for a good reason. However, a good relationship need respect each other and share sorrows and happy and a proper communication, that's missing between the leads in the end. The drama doesn't want to drag for 56 episodes, it can before that conclusion like 40 episodes. The writers still believes misunderstandings and miscommunication would better for engage viewers for each episode. But, it's actually excurting the viewers.

The last 10 episodes were felt like draggy and clichè breakup between leads. ML revenge plot failed to portray and even romance between the leads very limited exposure. The Empress Dowger promoting FL in each rank was unrealistic and exaggerated, and another Pan Chi character he overly meddling leads couple relationship kind of annoying character. The drama overall good and watchable, but it cannot satisfy after episodes passes it felt flat. The ML carried most of the show, because of him it's good.

It's very family oriented story and we cannot expect exceptional plots. Moreover, the writer want to show that lead couples up and downs and also family bonding of the main couples through the toughest days in their of the bad times. The writer trying to address the problems of both genders in their job. Especially, Shen Lin faces sexual harrasment from her nanny job and her job loss because of age. Na wei unfair mistreatment and firing from his job without any money and his business failure. The main couples various stages after job loss and changes in their lives and their families members life changes and leads and their family members self discovery is all in the story.
