yeah drama adaptation really whitewash them too much may be they should have followed novel story line in this regard to show fl vulnerability and both ml and fl darwback time back in Suzhou where they in other views exile themselves but in my opinion they actually forced themselves to take second chances 8n life & show how they actually heal become salvation of each other

well its plot demand for fl to be like that in novel her personality is written as such i will say that drama adaptation actually tobe it down a lot but still can be seen here & there just like in ep 7 where she fell bcz of her own klutzy quirkes too but its a turning point of ml and fl relationship development
