The girl is unbearable. Pi O is living a hell of a trauma and all she can says is "shit happens, time to move…
I don’t dislike Jae-in because she’s a female lead. I dislike how forced her relationship with Pi-o feels. There’s barely any chemistry or bonding, yet the drama keeps pushing romance between them. A kiss doesn’t create love or chemistry.

Ironic how the crazies in the comments are using Jae-ins kiss on Pi O as a "gotcha!" moment to deny what…
This is exactly the problem with these comments—you’re treating anyone who doesn’t ship Pi-o and Jeongyo as homophobic.

Nobody has to hate gays or “want it to be straight” to think Pi-o and Jae-in’s romance feels underdeveloped. The issue is simple: romance needs actual buildup. A kiss doesn’t create chemistry, just like calling two people a couple doesn’t magically create love between them.

If anything, forcing a romantic pairing without showing convincing emotional bonding is like an arranged marriage with no love—you can give the relationship a label, but the feelings still aren’t there.

And criticizing the writing of Jae-in and Pi-o’s romance is not the same as hating Jae-in. She can be supportive of Jeongyo and still be poorly written as Pi-o’s romantic partner.

You’re free to see Pi-o and Jeongyo as romantic, but stop pretending that everyone who disagrees is homophobic. That’s not an argument—it’s just a way to shut down criticism.

Look at the comments under this show. People keep calling others homophobic, yet the BL fans here are being insanely…
Nobody is bashing Jae-in simply because she’s the female lead. The criticism is about the writing and the lack of believable chemistry between her and Pi-o.

You can’t just put two characters together, barely show any emotional or romantic bonding, throw in a kissing scene, and then expect viewers to call it convincing romance. That’s like saying, “They’re married, so they must be in love.” No — an arranged marriage can exist without love too. A relationship label doesn’t automatically create chemistry.

If Jae-in is genuinely helping Jeyong-yo through his grief, that’s fine and deserves to be acknowledged. But that still doesn’t magically make Pi-o and Jae-in’s romance well-developed.

And disagreeing with the romantic writing ≠ being homophobic or a BL fan. Some viewers simply find Pi-o and Jeyong-yo’s emotional connection more natural. Maybe criticize people for actually hating the female lead, instead of labeling everyone who questions the romance as “toxic BL fans.”
