Steamy but lacking chemistry
The story was interesting, the kissing and sex scenes steamy, the music was OK, and yet I watched it half-heartedly.
I like Shen Hao Nan and his acting style. He can show a lot with just micro-movements of his eyes and lips. But this actress was really wrong for him. They lacked chemistry even though the intimate scenes were executed well. The FL was annoying, esp. her know-it-all monologues, her voice was jarring, and her acting skills wooden. I've seen her in other dramas where I could still follow her as a lead, but here she seemed so mismatched with Shen Hao Nan, I really couldn't care less if they ended up together or not. Actually, for half of the drama I hoped he'd fire her. That's true for the second leads too. The only person I rooted for was Shen Hao Nan's character, but I wanted him to just free himself from the constricts of the Yin family. Nothing to do with romantic interests.
So my overall ranking is 5,5. A drama with its potential lost.
