Romance and chemistry are all on point. There are quite a good amount of kisses, but not deep passionate ones.

Remember those assassins (red eye demon ones) sent after Chu Kong to ruin his tribulations during 2nd and 3rd mortal lives. They were sent by Hao Xuan? I thought Hao Xuan wanted Chu Kong to repair his primordial spirit so that he could use it for his own agenda.

These xianxias had been with the same pattern like this for years already. One lead sacrificed... later only met again in last-minute of the ending. Some couldn't even meet properly..
It was a shame we couldn't see enough of CK in his blue armor.. I expected more epic battle scenes.

ML being a cameo is real though.
