Just finished the move. Likely the whole class hated her, hence literally rejecting her by having her sit outside. But this also alludes to the theme that she doesn't fit in and not even tried to unlike Lin that attempted to be with the cool group to prevent himself being further bullied. That's why at the end only she didn't get turned into monster (maintaining her integrity and kindness), while Lin and others did.
