from my experience, it's the opposite. male-female relationships tend to fall off faster, especially when the male best friend got a girlfriend.
the girlfriend would either be suspicious of me, or the girlfriend would try too hard to be friends with me , even though we have nothing in common and we don't click. i just don't know why they always want to force things.

i don't know why this happens to me all the time, because my bf didn't try hard to be friends with my male best friend. they either click or they don't.
