it's quite obvious the way it played out. LJH camp immediately held a press conference right away. it was as if he had prepared for this. as if he had anticipated everything. I know many girls who want "a Christian guy who is filial to his parents" as well. I mean, if you think about it, the more the person matches with your values, the less problems you'll have in your relationship. If you're someone who's religious and is family-oriented, having to constantly remind your partner to be "nicer to your parents" can be exhausting. I've known people (both men and women) who are completely rude to their parents for no reason and have grown up badly because their parents have spoiled them too much. Sometimes I feel for the parents because they've done everything right and yet they're punished with a cruel and difficult child.
This is why I cannot always fault the parents when things go wrong with their kids. You can be perfect and your kid still ends up a dreadful mess. You can be an imperfect parent and some kids still turned out to be respectful, considerate, and fully functional individuals in society. Parenting isn't as straightforward as people make it out to be.
