Hi @Froehlein, Here is second summary of today's statement by Lawyer L. ->Lies were first told by Kim Soo-hyun's…
Thank you! These are very insightful.
Seriously I still don't understand what he was crying about. Even if he were wronged (which I doubt, because he didn't counter any of the photos GS put out) he didn't need to cry. It's so fake. His narcissism really came out. It's so ugly.

As an Indian myself, I can’t say I’m surprised. Most of us grew up watching actors, singers, and politicians…
Yeah and unfortunately these kind of things are so common and they happen in many countries. The rich owns the law. -_-

I remember reading about the incident of Shah Rukh Khan's son being caught with drugs aboard a ship. Everyone else was sentenced except him.

"It's ok to not be okay" which was his only project I liked seems to be a cursed one. Both of the lead's career…
I couldn't finish that. He was this "angelic" ML and Seo Yea Ji was this "psychotic" girl. And I just couldn't watch dramas where the guys are portrayed as "victims". IRL it's always the girl who ends up being screwed over by psychopaths. Just look at the global statistics. 99.9% of sociopaths are men. And he's always taking roles where he isn't the problematic one. It's dramas like these that cloud the judgement of fans. Look at how his fans turned out.

Other criminals receive sentences and return to life - sometimes even to be congressmen. Why do actors have to…
I don't agree with cancel culture that aims to shame individuals who say stupid things or do stupid things that don't result in long-term irreparable harm. But I can understand how some people do not want to see actual sex offenders on screen. There are people who are traumatised by their personal experiences of sexual assault, or grooming by older men. The victims maybe disgusted by how people like him are earning a comfortable living and going about his life while they have to bear the burden of trauma for life. You can't say to the victims, "You're stupid for wanting to cancel this actor! Just forgive him and let it go!!" There are also people who are friends of traumatised sexual assault survivors. These people may want to protect people dear to them. These people may be the "keyboard warriors" you look down on. There are vile netizens, but not all of them are doing it for empty justice points.

I agree with network bans that are somewhat effective in sending a message to celebrities who earn a motherlode amount of money by putting on a facade in front of their audience yet committing gross crimes on the side. I can agree with such bans as punishment for a period of time, because there are kids who are easily impressionable by celebs on TV. They will think, oh, as long as I can be rich and powerful, it doesn't matter if I commit a crime or two, I won't be cancelled completely!

I'm not saying don't give him jobs completely, but he's actually steadily getting many jobs compared to other actors without criminal records and THAT is what is ridiculous.

This isn't merely about "cancel culture". This is the audience legitimately wondering why this uncle is the exception, why is he getting more jobs compared to other actors despite having such a criminal past, why is it that he could return to the industry so effortlessly while other offenders couldn't.

In Korean films the 'romance' (if there is any) is generally more realistic and more satisfying anyway. There…
the man also looks young for his age. in reality they're just 10 years apart.

i don't know what's so unbelievable for her to be in her mid-30s. the only reason some people find it unbelievable is because they're too used to seeing actresses in their mid-30s looking as if they're 18-20.

lmao get over yourself with that strawmanning. and yes, you did imply over and over that she was ugly. you kept going on and on doubling down with your discomfort that her fashion was wrong, her image was wrong. over and over. why didn't you address the rest of the argument? because you can't. learn the meaning of narcissism - that should be you - framing your opinion as facts, calling other people idiots for disagreeing, and can't take it when you're dished back the same thing. you're obsessed with this shit. are you self-inserting yourself as the male character?

Her hair, makeup, and outfit were decided by the image crew of the drama team. And since you're speaking about idiots, you're just one of the very few idiots who insist that she doesn't look her part.

Read my fucking previous comment again. She's not the only actress who was cast in a role that's younger than her age. You can pretend that rarely happens but it's a fucking common thing in dramas, films and theatre. The reason that people like you keep attacking this actress in this drama is clear. Really. We fucking get it already, you're using "age" as an excuse to belittle the actress because you just. don't. like. the. way. she. LOOKS.

You think she's too fucking old and ugly to be playing a 30-something who should be BEAUTIFUL in your opinion, but that's just YOUR OPINION. It's not a fact. Capisce?

you should have seen the comments section for Crash Course in Romance, my block list grew at an alarming rate.
because they psychologically self-insert themselves into the young actresses' roles and imagine themselves kissing their oppas in the dramas. life is going to be hard for them when they get to middle age. they will still psychologically self-insert themselves into young actresses' roles lmao

FFS Where was it explicitly mentioned that she's 15 years older than her niece? And even if she's playing a role 15 years younger, so the hell what? Plenty of actors and actresses have played characters much younger than their chronological age. So the problem you have is her looks, because she doesn't fulfil your ~*standards*~ somehow. You keep insisting that she doesn't "look" her part. That's just your opinion, not facts.

yes lmao i'm sure attacking your own people like this and then blocking them means "keeping it peaceful". it's the beauty of socking it to actual trolls - lash out then block. but you doing it to your own group of fans? dumb.
