It’s plain and simple, The moment BY took over & trap Naksu’s souls, BY became part of the issue. She is now a guilty person, because she is reaping the only advantages here again. She now falls in line w/ her whole families who made direct decision to take advantage of Naksu. Let me remind u, BY was innocent when her irresponsible mother go against the country’s law & use the icestone power to revive her life but now she is just as guilty. That is why, it’s now fair game if JangUk chose to kick BY and save Naksu in that body. My original message above is that I no longer care that BY survive or not versus before.
Haha remember what they asked gyj in the interview the most hard scene to shoot for her it was the kiss scene…
I understand why it was hard, it’s literally one of the longest make out session I’ve seen in drama land (start at the end of ep7 & continue w/ same passion to beginning of ep8). 🤭
I have always wanted Naksu to get out of BY’s body because it’s not hers. However after today I’m more certain that I don’t care if JangUk chose to save Naksu & leave BY to vanish( although Naksu will likely decline since she too don’t want JBY’s body).
To me, if BY did not trapped Naksu’s soul, the other girl that Naksu wanted to shifted soul w/ would likely get Naksu body to heal properly and Naksu’s original body would have survive & most likely she would have gotten another ejectors and shifted back when it heals before she petrified (& both body could have survive that they are back to their OG body, but we will never know because of BY’s interference & needing Naksu’s energy instead ).
Hongsisters how are you gonna make it right for our leading lady who has been continuously used by the Jin families?

Another one to add based on Uk’s conversation w/ the queen. He said he could help shifted her to a different body but won’t. Hence, he could find a new host for Naksu.
I really feel like this time around (based in Uk’s personally & love for Naksu) , if she doesn’t survive, he won’t hesitate to go w/ her. There no way he’s gonna go through another grief again if unable to protect her and failing a 2nd round.

I wrote this below but since it about the same topic: I interpreted as he turned it on/off himself because of her prior words that she wished he would have purposely turned it off to go and get her. So he is conflicted going against his words: turn it off to go get her or leave it on to follow through by letting her go. He does go looking for her eventually as he stated that he couldn’t find her at Jinyowon. When he sees her, he tells her his true feelings through the meaning of the flicking lamp (she was taken back uncertain what he is implying & tells him to return a useless thing) but he explain the on/off feeling of his & gave her an option if she chose to leave he’ll understand. She steps forward & blows him some air telling him she wants to blow the lamp off … a sign for him to continue to fight for their love…he obliged & kissed her to hold on to her.
The kiss scene at the end of episode 7 is probably the best I've seen in any historical kdrama!
The kiss felt so raw, at times slow & a little aggressive(passion/needy.. can’t describe it), we seen them take a quick breather and then continues… this was indeed the longest kiss I’ve seen.. if someone can pinpoint others that are longer please share. 😏
