I've always been told by Rurouni Kenshin fans that these live-action films are the greatest adaptation of any manga/anime series. And well lemme just say... it did NOT disappoint!
As someone who at least watched the first major arc from the anime, I can say that this film did a really good job adapting the story as well as bringing in the main cast that didn't feel tacked on nor did it distract from the main plot (take notes, Hollywood!). This first film was a lot of fun! So far so good. Can't wait to watch the rest! ^___^
