For anyone who has not seen the other two versions I would highly recommend watching this one. Actually, even if you have I would recommend giving this a shot. I got to say I’m actually really enjoying Tatch and Lom story. Never saw or knew of the other 2 versions (don’t really plan on watching them either) so I don’t have a point of comparison. On it’s own, it’s actually good! I don’t pay attention to side couples because no thank you lol but the main are not only incredibly adorable but also their progression in their relationship is unlike what I usually see in BLs. They’re both respectful and caring towards each other even when it starts off as an enemies kind of relationship. When they interact you can clearly see the adoration and pure love from the Tatch character for Lom. Their chemistry is there! The actors play their roles well. Thatch’s expressions hit every emotion right as well as Lom. Lom is adorable but empathic like Tatch. I like that there is a bit more seasoning to their personalities rather than just Tatch is hot and Lom is not. Another huge plus is they’re relationship ( so far!) is not problematic. There is choice, respect, and empathy between them. I love to see it! The story is simple, a bit silly, but sweet. I’m actually impressed with this show. To me it’s a hidden gem. Hopefully it continues to exceed my expectations. Don’t sleep on this! Give it a shot!
