The Strength of a Woman Lies in Her Fragile Side
This is my first J-Drama in 2025 and i'm glad that i watch this. The story of Takezawa family's and all of the problem that they faced is actual social issues that goes on even untill today and i love how Koreeda's message is clear.To Asian household family is a very heavy word, can be the source of comfort and trauma, the root of our deep wound yet the first that we search in the desperate and hopeless moment of our life, i love how Koreeda pointing the values of family in our life, how Tsunako and Makiko can tell each other about everything, how Takiko and Sakiko is enemies since their childhood era but turns out having the deepest affection for each other, the relationship of 4 sister with her father and each of their man. Everything blends so well and i end up tearing a lot in ep 7.
Asura no Gotoku is indeed another masterpiece from Koreeda👏👏👏
