I'm having a hard time continuing it, I don't agree with the characters choices 90% of the time, they are just making everything a mess. The ML is just weak, he can't stand up for nothing, and supose to have more power than everyone. I really try to get how someone that grow up in a sect would respect their elders and do nothing when someone is being tortured, but I don't.
What a mess is the beginning of this drama, everything is rushed with so many timelines. But I think things started to slow down on episode 6, I hope the story become more cohesive from now on. At least is something to watch now that A Moment But Forever is finished and there isn't another wuxia/xianxia airing.
This drama was a delight, it's a silly no brain drama with a lot of funny moments, I laughed every single episode a few times. If I think about it, the soundtrack helps a lot. Usually I'm very picky with comedy dramas, but this one I liked. Of course, ignore the plot, it's non-existent.

By what HanYan says in the episode, she was expecting the princess to arrive to help her convince her mother to divorce, once they were close. This plan had nothing to do with the horse. But they should be careful of the handkerchief, so I was surprised they didn't act to avoid something about it.
I wanna start so bad but I'm not prepared to handle all the evil villians and schemes and torture FL goes through.
I'm on episode 15, so far there are some good turns for the FL, but I would keep waiting if I had more patience, the villains are still strong and in every episode there is angst.

I can think of another dramas that surprised me with each episode and have beautiful cinematography, one with the same theme is The Double, one that is more wuxia is My journey to you. Speaking of nasty characters, the recent Si Jin will do that for you, that princess is pure evil.
About the last episode, they knew about the handkerchief, the maid told about the horse, and Hanyan was just there waiting for something to happen? I do hope next episode they show the plan she had behind, or that was just stupid.
I don't know exactly why, but I didn't like it overall. The plot is weak, the characters make stupid choices and I didn't felt the chemistry between the MC. The only scenes I was excited about were the ones with Ricard Li, but I didn't like the actress that was with him as well.

I also have a theory, but that is completely assumption so far, I think Hanyan mother's family was killed because of her husband (Zhuang Shi Yang). The way she married him because of her family tragedy is fishy to me.

Yes, of course, I don't think she hated her husband from the start as well, that happened during the marriage. But by the time she discovered the tunel, she hated him already.
