I have to say I don’t really get the rating. The production and the story are beautiful, the MC has chemestry, I think it’s one of the most interesting wuxia dramas I’ve watched.
I do hate some characters and would love to see them die, like Qi Ling Bo, but that doesn’t take away from the good parts.

Overall, I'm liking this drama.
But because I have read the novel, I miss that the drama does not show how much dedication and how amazing she was while rebuilding her father's business. Besides that, she was never so shy about her profession around him, it was her life.

I just binge-watched the 5 episodes, and now I'm sad because I want more. It's been a while since a good wuxia, and this is it!

The plot is pretty consistent for a short drama, but it is quite disturbing, lots of blood and intense scenes.

It's not the worst short drama, bur it's definitely not good.
The plot is all over the place, some acting needs adjust, and the end is bad.
I fast speeded a lot so I could finish it.

I decided to rewatch this drama and I can continue saying it's so good!
What is more, the ML is the most perfect ML of all times. Really, If I had to select my favorite ML character, it would be him. Smart, cunning, organized, strong, devoted, protective, with the mind and heart in the right places, nothing bad about him.

Overall, it has a sad end. But there is also an open end possibilitie.

Besides the ones already mentioned, you can try :
- Back from the Brink, that is with the same ML. Although I prefer the ML character in Love in the Clouds.
- Fangs of Fortune, it is a xianxia with the same ML also, I love this drama, but the romance it's not the best part.
- Moonlight Mystique. It's from this year and I loved it so much.
- When Destiny Brings the Demon - It's pretty good.
- Love of the Divine Tree, a very light and sweet xianxia.
- The Starry Love. I lost count how many times I watched this one. So good.

I'm enjoying it, it's a good drama to kill the time. But the two ML are so alike, I've gotten them mixed up a few times, they look so similar.

This drama fulfil my dream to portrait Ryan Cheng as a serious general ML, something I wish since I watch his character in My Journey to You.

Ah, that was good. It was a little messy towards the end? Definitely! But still, it's a fun drama to watch.

What an unnecessary long drama. The plot is so slow, I had to speed-watch a lot.
The production and actors are good, the plot is ok. It's not a remarkable drama, but it's not the worst I have watched.

I'm basically watching it because of the ML and 2ML. They are so handsome, the smile of the ML is so beautiful.

What a great drama, it's very well-made for something from 2013.
But you have to be a little masochist to be able to finish it, it's very tragic and the evil ones keep winning.
