Title Cheer Up
we're not hating nor bashing, it's just his karma to receive another rejection from HY, He thinks he can hurt…
Naming a few: Park Jae-eon (Nevertheless), Gu Jun-pyo (Boys Over Flowers), Kwon Shi-Hyun (Tempted)...

You can't even compare these other boys to Sunho. Why don't you hate these characters? A character like Sunho is typical in the K-drama industry, what's with the fuss with Sunho? That isn't karma because Haeyi liked Sunho, pointing out she asked him to wait because she knew he was rich. Considering the fact that we know Haeyi loves money, and she felt bad for taking advantage of Sunho so she rejects him and returned his money. She even thought that he was too good for her that's why they don't match. Since Jungwoo is lacking in a lot of parts and both of them don't have a dad, they have similarities in where they connect, compared to Sunho who looks like he has everything. Even to the point that she kissed him back even when drunk, then contemplated the next day which between Jungwoo and Sunho to choose. But their relationship stayed close after all that. That isn't a loss for Sunho, they had better chemistry than Haeyi with Jungwoo. It's only the drama's plot that Sunho is the second lead while Jungwoo is the main lead.

Sun ho kiss confused and doubt her feelings. Ep 11 hae yi first kissed Jung woo and then each other kissed with…
• I never said Sunho is the best. I'm just defending him because most people think and say that he's toxic and manipulative. Both Jungwoo and Sunho are not good enough for Haeyi, but that's the plot made by the writer, we don't have control over that.

• As you said that "captain is one of the poorly written character in this drama that's why sun ho get more screen time", it just shows that Haeyi and Sunho had better chemistry, it was mostly random for Haeyi to choose Jungwoo. But Sunho is the supposed second lead, which means that Haeyi and Jungwoo were meant to be together so we don't have any control over that. I'm just giving you the points why Sunho isn't as bad as you think. People keep naming his negative side, without even looking at the positive things he did for Haeyi.

• The possible reason for Haeyi to chose Jungwoo over Sunho is that Jungwoo must've been Haeyi's type compared to Sunho. Since Jungwoo is lacking in a lot of parts and both of them don't have a dad, they have similarities in where they connect, compared to Sunho who looks like he has everything. Jungwoo didn't confess his feelings for the sake of the group, but why did he suddenly have a change of character and then confess just because he had a reality check? From the episodes aired so far, I didn't see his feelings or attraction for Haeyi. Compared to Sunho, I spotted him looking for her, caring for her, listening to her, and being truly sincere about his feelings.

"One month wait she told but she rejected him multiple times ,that part you not noticed."
• I already said my thoughts about that. How sure of you to say I didn't notice? The fact that Sunho continued to pursue Haeyi just shows how serious and sincere he was about his feelings. Because from being introduced as a playboy, he ended up falling and loving Haeyi unknowingly.

NOTE:
I'm not trying to pick a fight or trying to make an issue about this drama. I'm just clearing things up and stating things that has to be said. Because sometimes we look over things and forget about the details. Most people only consider the fact that Sunho kissed Haeyi while she was drunk.

look at my recent reply above

As he said before, "My life motto is to welcome whoever likes me and not to stop whoever leaves me. But even when I know you don't like me, I still like you." Which means that he just accepts any random girl who likes him. He doesn't purposely hurt the people he dates, like the whole list of girls who wants to date him, isn't it obvious that they want the hot and popular boy to be their boyfriend? They had that intention, with knowing that Sunho was a playboy. They voluntarily entered the hell of gates, it's not Sunho's fault that he's not serious. It's just because he doesn't sincerely like them, he just wanted to date. He had an obvious image, the girls were either naive or too commited.

Sunho left the cheer when Haeyi rejected him because he needed time and space to sort his feelings (He even said, "Haeyi, I like you. It's my first time telling someone that I like her, you know? It's easy to say, "Will you go out with me?" But to say "I like you" I was a little scared.") That showed his fear and hesitation, considering the fact that he joined the cheer for Haeyi (leaving the cheer meant giving up Haeyi). He even went back to the cheer and stayed as Haeyi's friend, despite knowing that they had no chance of being together. In Sunho's position, it's his first time sincerely liking someone, and he gets rejected. You're naming it as "karma" without considering how it must've felt for him to finally succeed only to fail.

"so much support for his actions generalizing his doing, his love and he confessed is ok but overstepping the boundaries into someone is not a good sign of love because of his looks and wealth not always matter"
• Overstepping boundaries..? I noticed in every episode that Sunho was always only observing and then hesitating, he was controlling himself. He cared for her and was always there to comfort her in silence. The "overstepping of boundaries" you must've meant was the kiss which I already explained.

• Remember what Haeyi said right after Sunho paid for her brother's academy tuition? She said that she would date Sunho after a month if he can wait, then rejected him because she thought that he was too good/too perfect for her. The fact that we know Haeyi loves money, she felt bad for him so she rejected him and returned his money. But their relationship stayed close after all that.

"Hae yi doesn't draw the line between relationships and friendships."
• Yeah, that's why Sunho and Haeyi stayed as friends and even closer than Haeyi with Jungwoo despite Haeyi knowing that Sunho was courting her.

You might not hate or bash him, but some do. I've been seeing a lot of hate he's been receiving.

As he said before, "My life motto is to welcome whoever likes me and not to stop whoever leaves me. But even when I know you don't like me, I still like you." Haeyi kissed Jungwoo when she was already certain with her choice. While when Sunho and Haeyi kissed, Haeyi was drunk but she wasn't completely opposed by that because she kissed back. The next day she was choosing between Jungwoo (who confessed his feelings) and Sunho (who kissed her), Haeyi avoided BOTH of them. Which means she had feelings for both of them and was uncomfortable for the same reason. At the end, she chose Jungwoo. The difference of their kisses was that Haeyi didn't know her feelings yet when she kissed Sunho, then she was certain of her feelings when she kissed Jungwoo.

Her acting is really good compared to other Chinese actresses I know. She's so funny and she's got an attractive aura which makes her so lovely and cute. I love her soooo much, she's my favorite Chinese actress.

You guys gotta stop hating Sunho, he was there to comfort Haeyi at times she was down. He's been observing her and holding back because he knew from the start that they wouldn't end up together. Despite that, he said that he was fine with having a one-sided love and still stayed there beside her. That shows his love for her, how serious he was, and how devoted he was. Compared to the main lead, he played with her feelings and then suddenly confessed. None of them were good enough for Haeyi. So there's no need for us to bash any of the main leads. Sunho kissed Haeyi when she was drunk (yes, he took advantage of her) but why did Haeyi kiss back and was thinking hard about whether to choose Sunho or Jungwoo? It means that she also had feelings for Sunho. Just because we all know that they won't end up together, it doesn't mean that Sunho is all toxic for kissing her. If Jungwoo was the one who kissed drunk Haeyi, will you all be hating him too? You won't. "Because he's eventually going to end up with her, it doesn't matter." That's what you guys will be saying. So let's just not add fuel to fire, Sunho is Sunho, we have no control over him. If you hate him that much, then drop the drama. Don't keep bashing and defaming his character by only looking at the negative things, look at the positive side too.

On episode 10, liking it so far...except I'm beginning to find the FL too irritating. May have to drop it because…
Her character and personality actually brings up the whole drama. If she had a normal personality, there wouldn't have any good plots that happened in the story. That kind of personality isn't really portrayed well in other dramas, her personality is her personality in real life that's why she played it well and realistically. Although she may seem cringe, the only reason they would get together is because of XLH herself. Honestly, the drama only got better because of the later part. I hope you reconsider and finish the drama💕
