Relax guys. WI has a RICH CEO, Struggling FL & a BL second lead were the similarities. I didn't say it's a copy…
You did write ‘exactly the same’ though. I didn’t like wedding impossible much since I can’t really feel chemistry coming from jihan so I dropped it. It was lacking for me in both romance and comedy part. So I really can’t see the similarities you’re talking about
Rich ceo and struggling girl is so commonplace so that’s pretty far fetched. Also being gay and being bl writers is not the same thing
why did you link a video fully in korean without english subtitles in an english comment section lol
Anyway at least for the ending, the original webtoon makes more sense. It highlighted how Han Sugang destroyed himself. In the webtoon, Han Sugang was bullied at first, then went and learned muay thai, but did the exact same thing his bully did to him, to feed his 'hidden sense of inferiority'. In the webtoon, he directly beat up someone until braindead instead of 'indirectly causing' the death of a teacher.
At the end of the webtoon, someone revealed a video of Han Sugang getting bullied during middle school, making him explode and make a scene in the school. He brought gasoline and poured it on students, threatening to burn them down. It's finally an incident the school can't cover up. This was why in the end Sugang was arrested for good.
Another detail that changed: - So Simin's dad is supposed to be dead from the start. He was trying to pay off the debt (being the guarantee for a loan is still the same in the movie) then somehow died trying to save a little girl drowning in the river. There's also a heartwarming subplot about how he connects with the bullied kid (it was right to cut this part, too long to put into the movie).
The director's choice that's problematic in my opinion: - Deleting all of Han Sugang's backstory, making him into a one-dimensional villain instead of a well-fleshed character. - Making So Simin's dad alive and adding comedic elements to him, resulting in the lack of tension in the movie. - Confusing ending, did it make sense that Han Sugang who has always gotten away with what he is doing gets jailed so easily? (mind you, in the movie he even bullied the teacher under the convenience store's CCTV camera)
Overall, this drama could have been better if they had gone with a darker storyline. The fights were still good tho. As Lee Junyoung's fan, this movie still shows different sides of him but I hope if he becomes a villain character in the future, he will still have a story to tell instead of being a character that can just be summed as 'devil', but a unique, true character.
idk if the movie is too good or i just love jun young so much😭
For me the movie is good, watched it one year ago and liked it even though I haven't watch any of the main cast previous works. Now I love it even more after becoming fan lee junyoung because of DOAFF~
Lmao I just found out that lee junyoung was going to put seaweed in his teeth for the beggar scene ahahahhah I'm glad the director stopped it and told him to not do it, otherwise prince chamin image would really crumble XD
So, it came after wedding impossible & with exactly the same plot, more or less. The leads are amazing. The show…
It wasn't even a bit same(?) Did you wrote this while drunk lol Wedding Impossible- story of actress pretending to be couple with gay friend and somehow got involved with the brother DOAFF- story of girl wanting to become cinderella by marrying rich man, meeting crazy and funny ceo who sees woman as stone and brings umbrella around
They really should have gone with the original plot. Because of the director's changes, the story doesn't make any sense. The original plot is explained there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij6f9rWAMc8
I thought it would be funny like business proposal but the first episode is sooo boring. Does it get better?
If you like either strong woman do bongsoon, welcome to waikiki, or gaus electronic, you should like this too. If you hate any of the drama I mentioned, I think you won’t like the humor
the rap proposal and the dramatic toilet scene had me deaddddd😭😭 loved this sm such a comforting drama!…
That rap proposal was seriously unhinged 🤣🤣 after I found out prince chamin is a rapper in real life, I wished they had made him do rap confession too 🤣🤣🤣
Rich ceo and struggling girl is so commonplace so that’s pretty far fetched. Also being gay and being bl writers is not the same thing
I like it tho

I guess I found my comfort zone in comedy~
Just curious, do you like either strong woman do bongsoon, gaus electronic, or welcome to waikiki? I feel like they have similar humor
