well they were living together and he put a ring to her so this is a very modern fairy tale for K standards....
Actually when I started on this, I watched the latest ep 6 first lol Because everyone keeps saying it got better later on. I watched the episode 6 to 5 to 4 so this drama really sold me with just their comedy.
I think I would still love this even if I watched from ep 1 tho, I was laughing when chamin's staff exposed him that he is doing charity just to reduce tax. Then in ep 2, how chamin's chaebol friends questioned whether he was slapped by a girl, and how for chaebol like them it's game over after. It's so funny lmao, how they take jab on how chaebol fall in love with commoner XD They take jab when they did the exact same thing ahahhahah
I just love that kind of dynamic... Also on ep 5 the morning after chamin kisses jaerim, his staff acts as paparazzi and then he replied to them like these two are really a press XD
I didn't really care about the plot, but after watching ep 8, I think they did quite well. It was beyond my expectation that they would elaborate on the main character healing their inner child
i like this drama but what’s up with that ring? 💀 bro has no taste
Considering how unserious this drama has been, I wouldn't be surprised that they did this on purpose, just picking the biggest ring design possible 💀
I also wonder if the drama producer has beef with samsung or something lol, first they made fun of bixby during the kidnapping scene, then in ep 10 we're shown jaerim samsung flip having creases in the middle. Most kdrama would talk about how good samsung is and they did the opposite :v
His last romcom before this should be Please Don’t Date Him, that was quite nice. When he was in NH he keep…
We’re a bit different in that, I like my fav taking villain roles, but only when he’s the ultimate villain. That’s why I like his role on Class of Lies but not on others. I’m fine with villain roles whn it’s written well. Not just lazily slap on the most evil guy, but how his psychology changes into that of villain
Agree nowadays romcom turns into melodrama or worse, suddenly criminal investigations started entering the story…
Ah I also hate drama like that, too much misunderstanding is also not to my taste. I think the worst ending is when they just made the leads away from each other for year or two then make them meet with smile or sth. Just make it sad ending if you’re gonna do that 😂
When I watch romance with thriller side, I just end up focusing my attention to the thriller plot. I would keep making theories and ending up not enjoying the romance. I guess it’s individual problem ahahahha
Especially at minute 1:26, my favorite is him dancing to UNB - Black Heart.
Wait I found a complete description. He did actually have eventful life as an idol
Lee Junyoung was a street dancer who then debuted as the youngest member of UKISS in 2014 at 17 years old. He debuted with the stage name JUN and became the rapper of UKISS following member AJ’s hiatus. He first appeared in UKISS - Quit Playing MV which became a controversy because of its sexy theme and how it involved the then underage JUN. The music video was also labeled 18+, making him unable to watch the MV he participated in.
In 2017, he joined survival show The Unit and placed first during the final selection. He became the center of UNB, the group made from the show. His position was the main vocalist with member Chan. He is active as UNB member until 2019.
Lee Junyoung debuted as an actor in 2017 as Lee Soogyum in the drama Avengers Social Club. He continued his acting career after his departure from NH Media following the end of his contract with UKISS in 2021.
honestly this could be a high quality drama if the screenwriter or whoever in charge of the story had been a little…
I don’t think it would be that interesting as serious drama. If this was made into melodrama, it would not be good since the topic itself is limited. How are you going to expand on topic of cinderella? That would be difficult
