To be honest, I also watch the original because of the korean version, and I gotta say I like it so much that I use Li Zi Wei shot on the opening scene as my new wallpaper lmao

I heard it played in hospital playlist too. I feel like this song is really popular, I feel like I have heard of it in variety show for karaoke or something, so it took out a lot of feeling compared to last dance that I heard for the first time. Though in general I like rock and ballad equally, but I don't know many rocks so I might be biased, I have a lot of good ballad collection but not rock.

Well for a background story, that was good. The original SOOD screenwriter chose the song Last Dance, was because despite belonging to household name Wu Bai, it was unpopular, merely B side song. Just like how Minju/Yuru quote:

And from the lyrics I feel that it resonates, how Yuru is trapped in the memories of Huang Yuxuan seeing her living life she can't have, how Huang Yuxuan needs to face reality that Wang Quansheng is gone, and how Mo Junjie close his senses to once again feel the existence of Chen Yuru that has disappeared.

I actually love her character when I watched SOOD. Her poems and narratives was always strike a chord in my heart. Yeah she is selfish, stupid, but she also deserves love. I cried when everyone said she should not change back to the old Chen Yu Ru. I feel like the korean version deleted all those little things that makes her resonates with the audience. They did minju dirty

Ah yes they took out a lot of part in the beginning, I didn't have this problem since I watched the original, but I guess it must be confusing for those who only watch the korean version

No I think yeonjun is the start of time loop? If we see the perspective from canon events then the reason he time travelled is to know that his friend later committed suicide so when he returns to the past he can save him?

I think it's kinda like present times affect past and future. So siheon accidentally trapped in time loop, yet he can't do anything to save his friend. When he somehow think, what if junhee could time travel, the future will change and so does the past, so now he knows that junhee could time travel too? Idk if that work

I think she is a good actor, I do feel something is lacking but it could be because her sad scene is significantly shorter? The korean version cut a lot of sad scenes from the original which made me compare her to alice ko, but I think it's a more of directional problem

Well since you have seen the korean version, the original version won't feel as complicated, since you now know all the mysteries. Just enjoy it.

I wish if they had done remake they should fixed something from the original, like the plane crash, can't you just save them and had yeonjun die another time, and maybe did his proposal to junhee first? I don't know why they erased good parts from the original and kept the problematic element.

I agree, why can't they just show yeonjun happy somehow in the future, if they had done that, they at least had fixed something from the original sad storyline of him. But for minju actually her life is kinda sad too, she's the second character I wished I can see happy in the future when watching the original. The korean version did her dirty..

Well I think you should go watch the original regardless. Because I think what made me like the original Someday or One Day is that each shot feels like an art. Even without all the twist it presented. I think I would like it even if it's simple romance.

And also the characters are not exactly the same, for example in the original, the ML is very naughty, cool but troublemaker kinda of kid, so it's very different from the ML of korean version who aced his studies. Just see the first episode and you'll feel the differences, the original version focused more on emotional side of things than the logic of time travel.

I actually watched the ending, ep 13 first of the original ver, then the 1st ep, and I read the reviews and spoilers from blogger before watching it so it's that good if I like it even after knowing all the mysteries lmao
