The ckt feels somewhat like XL too frm whatever I read about the story. Like he is a villain for everyone in the story, doing wicked things to FL but actually makes her strong. So it seems basically the same ckt like XL n I don't think Jianci will take same ckt story again. Like i know this type of ckt suits him the best but it would only feel repetitive. Let's hope for the best though.

Saw this melon by many pages on X today. I was happy at first to see this😭 that atleast there is some melon of costume drama of him. Bt then I read the synopsis of the story n the ending of the novel, n suddenly I dnt knw if I want it to be true becos the ending is bad like LYF😭

Novel fans being hypocrites here now after the confirmed casting news, lol jst becos the casting was not according to what u imagined while reading the novel!? Then tell me did u not imagine ur personal biases/favs while reading the novel? It's not as if u didn't imagine the traffic actors who would get first or equal billing in this one. Majority had!
Though both of them r not my favs, I would still watch this drama only if the direction n execution is good, the novel wasn't very fav of mine but as I had read it I want to watch it whoever gets casted.
Also WHD fans should stop boosting this as whd doing it like some favor or he was made to take this drama on dagger point by xinli as a favor to them in exchange of gotd2😭 it sounds so funny😭 so stop embarrassing him n urself by making it sound like he did some kind of favor to this drama ph as everyone wanted their favs in this hot potato of a drama as it is BiG IP n fan fav novel since ages n almost whole industry was rumoured to get casted in it. Also stop saying as if he is the only one who can bring investments n views😭 like every traffic actor can bring that initially but only if the story n direction r good then a drama can be hit till the end. This drama would have given fame/boost to any actor/actress getting casted in it so everyone wanted this drama, it's jst whoever got casted had good luck n connections so they got casted. Sorry, I agree with ur few points except that whd took as doing some favor or people should be grateful that he took it😭 like the novel was a hot potato n every other person n their mothers wanted their favs in this drama like the novel was sooo soo popular that anyone getting casted in it was the dream of every person for their favs as it would only boost their popularity as the drama was bound to be a sure shot success considering its adapted frm fan fav novel of all times. So don't embarrass urself n ur fav by using such terms pls. It's whds good luck n connections to get this hot potato of a drama to add feathers in his bio not vice versa.

No, not movie again😭 why isn't he taking any drama man? I also heard he is going to do concert next year again for his 15th year anniversary, so he would get busy in that next year, so he should do a drama before that😭 that drama shi ri now has new melon actor as XZ, so I don't think Jianci is doing it.

This month is about to end n there is no news or even rumor of any drama where he was going to join this month!! 🤔 It seems it was cancelled or postponed.

I loved the ending. Why were people not happy with the ending? It was the best ending considering the time travel genre it had. Overall I really enjoyed the drama, though it turned messy n dragged after episode 20, but the last 2 episodes made up for it for me. So I gave an 8.5/10 for this.

Till episode 20 it was so good. But after that the story started becoming a mess n a drag. This drama had potential to be so much better but pity they couldn't handle the plot wisely.

Then I may be the right person to answer this, becos I found pob boring n dropped it😭😹 but this one though not very interesting for me, I watched it somehow. I got the hang of it after 15 episodes. But my reason for continuing this was purely becos of screen presence of ML which pulled me to continue it. There is more angst here in starting episodes than in pob. But after 5-6 episodes between ml n fl there was none.

Yangmi doesn't have small round face so I don't feel her face resembles yangmi😭

Idk if it's only me but WYL in this drama is resembling tan songyan a lot😭 although I saw her first in WDBTD drama n didn't feel like this but in this drama i jst keep having this feeling. Maybe becos of her hairstyle here her small round face became more prominent hence the resemblance.

Nice one time watch worthy drama. Though i usually don't like to watch such dramas full of blood n killings, it was CZY becos of whom I continued to watch, his screen presence is magnetic since forever, even when I first saw him in Mr. Bad( I completed that drama too only becos of him that time)
Li Qin here looked so fit for the role, she actually looked n suited that fierce general lady look unlike... cough.. the recent last general i saw.. cough..
All the ckts in this drama had both evil n good side to them. No one was pure evil, everyone had their reasons to become the way they were. So I didn't feel particularly sympathetic or very angry for any ckt. I even felt bad for murong zhao when he begged for his son desperately, until he also became evil out of desperation to save his son. N why does this Xia jingshi actor always play such hateful delulu 3rd angle roles😭 I would end up disliking him in normal roles too I feel. Like everyone else I also liked princess and emperor of jinxiu story but pity it ended tragically💔.
So I gave this 8/10 becos it was not my cup of tea type drama but I still completed it.

For me this drama is a lot better than the other two with high ratings on mdl airing rn. I love this kinda dramas more.

It was a good watch, though it was quite slow in the start, it got a bit better later. I somehow completed watching this becos i was enjoying it nonetheless. Quite a feat for me to complete a drama becos very few hook me till the end. So I will give it 8.5/10.
