Same thing I did. I dropped by episode 6 few weeks back but now didn't have anything else interesting to watch so started again where I left, thinking to try to watch more to see if the hype n hoopla around it is worth it for me (generally it's not) but then it really became interesting. I was eager to know what happens next with each episode. The story n execution both got better.
Loved the story n execution of this one. It was a bit boring for me in the start, I almost gave up by episode 6 but then later continued as didn't have any other drama to watch rn n that turned out a good decision as it became interesting with each episode later. It kept me so hooked till the end. For the first time I guess I genuinely felt bad for a 3rd angle n not irritated by his obsession. Poor guy. Maybe his puppy like face made me feel bad for him or wat idk. Enjoyed watching this so gave it a 9/10 though some things I didn't like which I won't mention becos fans nowadays r very intolerant towards genuine opinions of different people which differs from their own n would attack them to preach n I m in no mood to get preached/attacked. So saying only good things about a drama is acceptable here n that's wat i did.

+1. OMG same. When i read the novel I was so many times disgusted n hated at the cruelty fl does with everyone to take revenge. N novel fans cheer for it😭 i know they all did bad to her n her family so it was right to take revenge but the utter cruelty sometimes narrated would make me dislike the fl. I hope they tone it down in drama becos apparently due to chinese restrictions they would show it as dream n not rebirth, so doing this much cruelty only becos she dreamed like that would not be acceptable.

This is another reason for me to not continue this drama, the FL giving heart eyes to someone else jst like in TPR, makes me irritated with FL n don't want to ship her with ML. I m ok if FL doesn't like the red flag ml in start n ignores him or gives him back but the FL giving heart eyes to someone else instead while ML being jealous is where I draw the line. Same thing happened with me in TPR. Along with hating 3rd angle i disliked the fl too for always giving heart eyes to the 3rd angle. Heard even in the end she wanted to die for srq in the fire not caring for even her child in the womb 🤡 that's y I didn't complete that drama. Here also I read in someone's review that till the end it looked like FL only was with him from fear rather than love. She liked Zhang zhe only n becos she couldn't be with him she then was with ML. This is the reason also I don't want to continue, not finding chemistry n leaving is better than ending up hating the FL n leaving 😞

This drama was so boring for a rebirth drama or even slow burn romance drama. till episode 19 I don't find anything to keep me going. There is no slow burn even, the ml fl don't have ckt or actor chemistry till now. All they do is discuss how to save yan family. They don't have any sexual tension going on even or worry about each other. The drama is all over the place n not well thought out. They don't know what they wanted to show n messed up by showing everything without thinking through it what they actually want to deliver. But this is just my opinion n others might disagree. So to each it's own.

No they made changes to the novel to accommodate him is what I m reading here. Also even if his ss will be lesser than FL, he will still have equal billing. That's a given rule for a traffic star. They will either have first billing or equal billing. The double n glory both didn't have traffic stars. So that rule doesn't apply here.
But this drama is also a double aged sword for wang hedi because if it doesn't do well then he will get the level…
