I love this version of Mon, and I can definitely feel changes in their dynamics leaving for room of further development. Mon constantly humbling Sam who usually never apologizes until she met Mon. That's what i love about her. Her anger and little smirk were hot. Beware of Mon's wrath, Sam. Lol.
I like Nop now. He is totally a definition of "No Pain. No Gain." I'm looking forward to him being one of pivotal supporters in Mon's journey. I know Kirk is unbearable to watch but what he has done is realistic. He doesn't know anything about Sam's attraction to Mon and business risks. He is brain-dead, something is telling me that he is grandma's puppet and blackmailing him. Who knows? Let's see.
There's subtle behaviors no one has noticed in their session lol. Sam hesitates to kiss Mon and asked her to say chamcham. Mon obviously picked it up and said chamcham without any hesitation. Sam even stopped little bit and waited for Mon's signal to allow it then bite her lip. It seems like she is learning to be less impulsive and trying to be considerate of her. She even apologized sincerely. Kinda intimate if you ask me. Mon smiling into Sam's bite...was cute but suspicious! She said that Sam wouldn't be perv in ep 1 but she is and Mon loving it lmao. I think they didn't kiss because they aren't official yet. The way they hold each other's hand. Wow. I'm shocked again that it felt natural. How did they even manage to work it out like that?
Pain in Mon's face...during proposal. She just discovered her feelings for Sam and got her heart broken into million pieces. It got me..
Aaa welcome, I'm so happy you like it. And I 100% agree that the outfits for Khun Sam and Mon are so so good.…
I never liked pink and dresses but watching Mon made me love pink and I wanna wear her outfits so badddd. I recently brought pink blazer. My mom was so confused hahaha
I don't think bottom/top applies to lesbians tbh XD
nah i'm talking about stereotypes injected by GLs (manga, manhwa, manhua etc.) Even BLs have same problem. An obsession with who's the top and bottom but thankfully, newer BLs and now this GL series have driven away from that stereotype.
I was nervous about biting scene in the novel, but it turned out to be even better in the series. Biting game in the Sam's house, felt kind of sensual, cute and sweet. Sam placing her tender kisses then Mon reciprocating it. I love how Sam reversed roles (i think it's intentional in order to break top/bottom stereotypes). Mon's sucking Sam's lip, somehow felt innocent and hot at the same time. I'm shocked that it wasn't sexualized but instead, it highlights their desire for each other and it was toooo way personal....i feel like a creep interrupting them or sneaking around to spy on them. Even their birthday kiss made me feel in that way...whyyy? You're making me jealous, MonSam ;-(
Nah. Mon is naive and often assume that females can't be "perv." Like she said in the beginning of episode 1 about…
You're seeing things through western lens. Asian culture is still very restrictive with female sexuality, and doesn't touch on it. It often disregard females as pervs.
Sam has been giving mixed signals to Mon, and is engaged to men. It's very easy to assume that she's straight. Besides that, bisexuality is rarely acknowledged in Thai series. I doubt they'll follow that route. Anyone can make a move on a engaged person regardlessly.
i've been preparing myself for the heteronormativity since the day i found out the series was gonna be directed…
Frankly speaking, they did change many dialogues. I still have hope for Mon not being like, "I like only one woman." I'm guessing Mon said that because she thinks Sam is into men.
I've read the novel, and I was worried about episode 4 following similar trope like "I don't like women, I like only one." But they didn't. I think I still have a hope for this series not resorting to it. Mon saying these words, is probably because she assumes Sam is into men.
I really liked this episode except for Mon saying if she were a man she'd make a move it felt weird and out of…
Mon probably said that to avoid awkwardness since she doesn't believe Sam is into girls due to her engagement to a man. I guess Mon choose that approach she find "safe." That's just my assumption. I'm worried that it'll follow same trope in the book.
"- Did you do more than sleeping? - We didn't do anything. I'm a woman.""I would make a move if I were a man"I'm…
Nah. Mon is naive and often assume that females can't be "perv." Like she said in the beginning of episode 1 about the fact that Sam wouldn't be perv like Yuki. I feel like that Mon isn't really aware of expressionism of sexuality. Also, Mon said that she would make a move if she was man since she doesn't think Sam is gay, considering her engagement with Kirk. So it's probably safe approach Mon is choosing. At least, they didn't follow book's certain tropes.

But it's also in the book. It actually went with "I don't like women, but I only like her" trope. The book was written by a actual woman. Besides that, they clearly stated that they'll follow 90% of book's plotlines.
This is one of few dramas that has "huge age gap" done rightly without any creepiness but there's some unnecessary moment in few last episodes. Overall, I admire this series for not resorting to power imbalance
Maybe it simply escaped my attention span but I have been confused since the beginning about what exactly it is…
Based on my understanding, it showcases how Mon don't know Sam. She has known her as a child, from interviews and Sam's image. Her imagination thingy is more of her idolized image of Sam. Sam is popular in the media due to her social status, promotion of her company and stuffs like that. There's a difference between social media life and real life. You don't see what's actually going on in the real life and see only surface level of people's life on social media. In Thailand, royal rank is something that can contribute to one's popularity just like British monarchy. You can see how British royal members try to involve in general population by doing certain things like charity, interviews, visiting ceremonies etc. They are technically celebrities. I guess it can apply to Thai royal members or honorary titles. So Mon entered her room and pondering about Sam's fav color showing Mon entering the reality of Sam's true life. She's in the process of breaking down her idolized image of Sam and slowly accepting her true self. It seems like series will also rely on symbolism.
My favorite CDrama. I can't find this sort of romance in any show. Less toxic cold guy who truly cares. Ughhh....it's the perfect portrayal of tsundure. Gave me lots of butterflies and calmness.
I think Mon is a mysterious person, and is probably used to hide in her shadow. I hope Sam will discover her true…
You do have some points, and I can see them struggling with separation between work and personal life. But I don't think Sam and Mon would be too far into it at some point. Sam is little sarcastic but she doesn't certainly mean it. However, the real trouble with their work dynamics will come up with Kirk and Nita. I can sense that it'll threaten Sam's trust for Mon and might cause emotional distress in their relationship. I also can see how Mon is at major disadvantage in the workplace and also in the relationship with Sam due to grandma's homophobia. That would create uncomfortable situation too.
