4, the next episode is out 11/12

It’s now out on Gaga re-mastered in normal format with six episodes, four episodes out so far and i think it’s awesome. Might be too slow for some but it’s very well done.

I enjoyed it.

I agree, eagerly waiting for the next episode.

The author of which the narrative the series is based on has commented on the content and from briefly skimming over what she said, she was young when she wrote it and wouldn’t write something similar now. I’ve watched the previous version and it held some appeal to me but that was aside the unpleasant parts.

Mike is really killing it in his role as a creep, very well acted.

This was my first kdrama ever and I still love it.

Haha, awesomely written, unfortunately it's very accurate in most cases. As someone preferring fantasy and tropes I don't always hate it but i do see your point and had a very good laugh reading your well written review.

Omg, I’ve laughed so much reading and rereading this so my tummy hurts. 😂 Awesome review and a lot of things you’ve written hits the nail, unfortunately. I have to say though that even if the series is somewhat weird (mostly because of things you mentioned) I find it oddly endearing. The one thing hard to look past is, you guessed it, the turtle, poor thing!, 🐢

For som reason I never warmed up to that one, I tried but never finished. I recommend “Kill me, heal me”. ☺️

My first kdrama ever and it got me hooked both on kdrama and K-pop. I remember being baffled at first but soon enough enchanted. Still one of the best I’ve seen and the OST is to die for, I still got several of the songs as favourites in a Spotify list.

I don’t remember watching it but see that I rated it 9/10 here so I must have at some point, maybe time for a rewatch. ☺️

Indeed.

It could have been awesome, the plot was interesting but we just got snippets of crucial happenings in the wrong place and the love between the bullies and the bullied just gave a bad feeling overall. The acting and the visuals saves it but it’s something wonky with the editing of the story line and as you said, very dated.
