It's not even something too "extreme" like one piece/attackontitan/berserk sh1t.. but yet they failed (it's very badly failed for me personally) ..
Look , with so many actors choices outta there ,,,, they came up with these line up is indeed deserved to be called "failed" .

Dunno for other webtoon readers, but for me personally,, I'm looking for actors/actress who's represent the characters best, or most webtoon accurate or ,, the closest we can get , with the available resources of course.

Hoping 2d characters became real is utterly stupid tbh.

But for me personally, I've watch all those 4 dramas first before finished the webtoon .

That's why when I'm on my way to finished the webtoon, I've already had these actors in my mind as the "live action adaptation' version of the webtoon

1. Backstreet rookie for jieum (Kim yoojung)
For ban jieum
2. Dalli and prince (Park gyuyoung)
For little sister chowon
3. Just between lovers (Lee junho)
For secretary Ha

And if you already read the webtoon,, then
you would find seoha
kinda similar into Mr gong/gong woojin.

Just watch it , it's very recommended.

I mean Kim minjae (we would got dalli couple reunion here lol) as seoha was good choices too or even Kim soohyun (it's okay to not be okay) if you had more budget 🤣🤣

But,, have u ever read the webtoon?? Try to read it first, hyesun was too old for jieum.
Bohyun was too "manly" for seoha.

While the other 2 were kinda "acceptable" (you could replace them with another actors but even if you stick with them , it's still okay)

Yeah , I feel like junho could pull both of moon seo ha or ha do yoon.
Just depends on the decision maker.
junho for seoha and bohyun for secretary ha would be good choices too

Ban ji eum was the main character here , so I feel like being very serious about the casting for this character is very necessary.

So far there's no other actress I could imagine to play jieum very perfectly except yoojung tbh.

Both females lead were fixed but not for the males.

2. Chowon => Park gyu young (dalli and prince)

(Not fixed, could be changed)
3. Moon seo ha => Sejong (still 17) , could be Park hyun shik ( happiness) .
4. Secretary Ha => Lee junho (between lovers) , or you can just give this role to bohyun.

Yeah I mean , from webtoon readers perspective like me (or us) , the cast literally disappointing , not because they're untalented , but considering everything about the webtoon characters , the cast is just doesn't suited at all.

And btw I've alternative cast for this adaptation, you wanna hear ??
