Honestly, plot wise, this wasn't all that. There were a good number of loopholes especially with the character development butttttttttt it was just so much fun. I loved watching it either way🥹 I'm going to miss anticipating new episodes every weekend😔
they clocked innnnn 10th ep was insaneeeeeFirstly the brother and sister in law coming to the rescueee yes bro…
Too real with the PM!!! I was expecting Second Male Lead Syndrome, what the hell is this villain arc😭😭 I genuinely do not understand his character at all!! That switch up was too fast💀
And ouuu! her brother's scene with the press??? Loved it, their brother-sister dynamic would have been insane if they had more screen time together!!
Okay episode 10 actually made me feel bad for the Queen Mother. Especially that scene where she found out her son already knew about his father wanting to leave the throne to I-An and the one where she was practically begging I-An not to accept the abdication. Like what do you mean she liked I-An before being forced to marry the king😭😭??? Her father is the real villain😭😭 I can't believe it's only one weekend left before this ends!!!
I just have one question. How the hell did they get the contract?????? Plus, I'm pretty sure I-An kept the contract and the half burnt edict in the same safe. If the contract has been revealed, shouldn't I-An be worried about the edict too?? This is not the episode I waited all week for😭
Plot wise, the purpose of Episode 9 is to make the victory sweeter and to make their bond stronger. Of course,…
Exactly my thoughts. I was literally waiting for them to go all mastermind and plan their next move but then when I really think about it, what exactly were they going to do? Like Huiju said, she can save herself, but she has no idea how to save him. Plus, everything happening at the same time must have been overwhelming. I'm pretty sure, at least, I'm hoping, we'll see them back to their strategic selves in the next episode.
my friends told me to not watch and that it drags out and some comments too say it drags out, does it really drag…
Honestly, I think it depends on you. I was hesitant to watch it too cause of the comments that said it drags and it's too slow. But personally, I love it. The plot isn't anything new but there are certain cliches that it avoids. The romance is so sweet, love ittt. The couple has good chemistry and a good number of the side characters are hilarious. It's very slice of life-ish. If you don't like that, you'll most likely not enjoy the drama.
I would also consider Lusi's character from the Long Ballad as a strong female character because it highlights…
This!!! Lusi's character in the long ballad was so well written. Her growth was amazing to watch. She may not have been as physically strong as Chang Ge but she was brave enough to take on certain risks and responsibilities in making changes given her position in the palace.
Found the first two episodes very much hilarious only to come here and see the comments💀 Now I don't know if I should question my decision or just continue with the drama
I just knew it😭 By episode 6, it was quite obvious that this wouldn't get a proper ending. I don't even know if I should have hopes for a season 2 or not🤦🏽♀️
Well, I really liked Yi San, Jewel in the Palace, Dong Yi, The King's Daughter Soo Baekhyang, Empress Ki, Six flying dragons, The Princess' Man, then Moon embracing the sun and Jang Ok Jung although I don't know if the last two can be classified as OG
There are some others I would love to recommend but unfortunately, I was never able to complete them
This would be such a fun watch if the writing wasn't so annoying. So I'm supposed to believe that a man who went from being a shoeshiner to a chaebol would pick the advice of a shaman over that of his legal advisor??? In what world?? It's not like it was some complicated advice or something, it was literally basic contract knowledge. Plus how do they have so much disloyal people around them that Eun Seong was able to so easily get those people who opened Hyun-Woo's safe in, in broad daylight??? Maybe I'm missing something but a lot of the catalysts of the plot make no sense💀
It's an interesting watch but there's so much nonsense that's just too hard to ignore...
New to disney+/Hulu dramas? lol. They usually wrap it up nicely or give us a season 2.
Oh wow💀 The only one I've actually seen is a shop for killers, the others I know of like moving, worst of evil, call it love are still on my to-watch list
And ouuu! her brother's scene with the press??? Loved it, their brother-sister dynamic would have been insane if they had more screen time together!!
P.S I see my favourite couple in your pfp🥹
