This type of parenting is not far from reality, yes it can push a lotta people to being discipline which in turn can make some successful. But the trauma that it leaves is scary.

But it’s hard to expect her daughter to not behave like brat when her family enabled her to be that way especially when her elders behave the same way. And yes independence is important as a child, but it can be introduced in one’s life gradually.

I’m confused, what are parents for if you mustn’t rely on them ?
I really don’t see anything wrong with asking your parents to help you with college admissions, they most likely gonna pay for it anyways.

I understand people’s pain, story etc but I also don’t support many of the choices the main leads take.

I personally don’t support the ML, because what right does he have to use violence and breaking the law to avenge others that other people don’t have ?

If you support him, then what about everyone else in this world who get hurt, failed by the law, the system, elders, people in power? Is it okay for everyone to seek out violence whenever the system fails them?

To what extent do we give people power to take matters into their own hands ? Who’s the judge for what punishment that fits the crime ?

What the ML is doing is wrong, and yes we’re human and there are horrible people there who deserve revenge the our ML is doing.

My question remains why is okay for him to do it? What about the rest of the people in world who also get hurt and want revenge themselves the way he’s doing ?

I’m finding it hard to like the ML. Mainly because he’s using violence to avenge for others. Sure they portray that the Korean school systems and the law fails to protect the victims but does that mean they should resort to violence?

I fault his character because he’s not smart enough to chose his battles. Sure the first revenge made some sense because he needed the money. But the second ? Is he going to continue doing this? To what extent because he can’t afford to take accountability for his actions

Such measures make sense if the person is willing to bare the consequences, and they have exhausted other ways to punish perpetrators. Then they sacrifice themselves.

Our main lead is just gambling with his life.

You’re right, because if the roles would be reversed. And the ML was getting the same screen time people would complain regardless of the main story not revolving around them.
