There's nothing wrong with the FL, imo, but the romance is a no for me. ML is old and mature, and FL is young…
It’s not matter of her acting, it’s her character on the show.
If I perceive her character more suited with with the high schoolers and I think she has more chemistry with the kids than the ML. Then that’s my opinion.

I find her a bit naive because of how reckless she’s behaved at times in the show. And that’s my opinion.
Personally thought FL had better chemistry with her younger dad than the ML. I thought he was gonna like her at some point. But I guess it was written in the stars for her parents :)
The only thing I’m complaining about is the FLs screen time, her acting and wardrobe is chefs kiss. Even the second FL, I wish we also got see more of her.

Like someone said good person but bad parent. She crossed line a lotta times for me, using food to discipline some is wrong. And the way she helped him recover was abusive, I’m sure it’s illegal. She passed her trauma to her kid, that’s why he had to sacrifice some of his adulthood seeking for revenge.

Realistic yes, but not every mother would do what she did. Some would’ve wanted to him to go back and do right to those he has wronged. Remember those parents protesting against Kang-Ho.
But some would react like her and want them to leave everything and start over .
The thing is he won’t have proof, in fact he might be in trouble because there are two dead bodies last seen with him and his enemies have this proof. Right now he doesn’t have an Ace.
I love/hate Dr Chas character, I always wish a badass revenge response when women get cheated on , on kdramas. Which is not realistic. I keep on watching this and wish for her to stand up!!!
I like this drama a lot but it’s the whole girlfriend helping out the guy to pursue his career that I’m not a fan of.
I wanted to see if the good bad mothering really resulted in him being successful of not. I wanted to see how he really turned out from being raised that way.
Overall for me 8/10, it was enjoyable. Woo Do Wan is really a versatile actor.

ML did not always treat her like her equal, he was constantly worried about her, had to save multiple times and hid things from her at first.

Whoever the killer is I think he’s more related to the ML than the FL
