no you don't understand her character no need to put her down, shengyi has always cared for her friends tho I…
But in that moment, she did just that. She told a very big secret that she was trusted with because he was being nice. I get that her character is supposed to represent broken women who feel as if they deserve the harsh treatment they receive and that she was traditional and felt that it was her duty as a wife to put up with her husband, but she put everyone in danger because he was being nice.
I don't hate her. I get it, but two things can be true at the same time.
Happy Monday clowns! My daughter started high school when this was supposed to air. Now she's graduating and we got a letter that she's been accepted to her #1 college choice. I hope we get to see HYX before she graduates college and I can finally celebrate with all of you that have been making this comment section so fun for the last few years! 🎉
Yang Zi is just perfect every time. Honestly, I would be okay with this drama with no romance and just the adventures of women trying to make their way!
But I am also enjoying the performance of Li Xian! How is this the first drama I've seen him in? His facial expressions are so good! I don't think Yang Zi has bad chemistry with anyone, but this might be in my top 5 pairing for her!
Welp, I completed it and it followed the webtoon until it didn't. Spoilers below.
I loved the webtoon and I thought the first few episodes followed the Webtoon nicely. I didn't like the makeover part. I thought she should have kept her hair long. Su-Min was perfect in her role. I like the Mr. Lee change and that he was closer in age to Ms. Yang. Mr. Kim was perfect and Minhwa also was perfect casting.
I didn't like the reveal that Mr. Yu also came back. I liked how they kept that twist for the end in the Webtoon. I also didn't like that they added a second female villian at the end. It wasn't necessary at all.
It became really draggy and they could have wrapped this up in 12 episodes. I wish they would have kept Ms. Cha so she could have come for the mom when she came back.
The chemistry was nice between the leads and I'm glad they spent time in the last episode with their happily ever after.
Ugh the problem with Chinese dramas is that they love to drag shit out. The original K drama is 16 episodes. I like the costume twist, but this did not need to be 40 freaking episodes. Stop adding nonsense to the plot just to add more episodes.
I also need Luo Yunxi's studio to get their shit together. Stop giving him these dramas! At least this time the Female lead wasn't awful. I loved her in Destined.
I read the webtoon yesterday. Yes, the whole thing. I'm liking the drama so far. I wished they didn't cut all of her hair off for the glow up. It makes her look... Idk. Matron like. I'm loving Sumin getting put in her place!
You can't help it. You just want to watch more and more
It's a curse! I'm sure I will end up suffering with everyone here waiting for the next episodes! I need to charge my tablet since iQiYi only allows 4k on mobile/tablet.
Whew chile... The last episode was certainly something. My ending in my head is after the real BSE is killed, they get married again and the dinner party is the ending. All the rest of it was unnecessary. 8/10 for me.

Also, Da Fu 😍 girl lol

Enjoyed it, but I wouldn't re-watch it.
Another day without HYX
Is it dramatic if we start sending letters to the Chinese government? 😭

Lastly, stop talking about his weight! My god!
Pausing everything on my Watchlist to start this. Can this be the drama I don't binge and suffer the wait for new episodes???
