I bawled my eyes out, especially the last few eps. the pacing, acting, and story really set NIF apart from other cdramas. I watched this after Legend of Zhang Hai, and wow—the difference in quality (made me appreciate NIF so much more). It truly deserves to be called a classic. I recommend savoring this drama instead of binging it all at once.

Also, I’m kind of interested in the possible love line between MCS/LS and gong yu, hehe. nihuang is a badass too, though.

Im on ep 24 and am just internally begging for wu xin scenes. i get that he is more of an elusive character but it’s making me feel disheartened

first noticed him in Destined, esp his resemblance with yang yang when he smiles. became a fan when he played the OP wu xin/ye anshi in TBOY 🤩. loved meng ziyi in Blossom!

some people recommend guardians of dafeng. the show reminds me of an american series called the Mentalist-the storyline, revenge trope, mystery cases, but especially the ml’s character

he honestly reminds me of king candy from the wreck it ralph movie

she was such a badass and genuine character. a breath of fresh air. the sharpness resembles ZH & kuai duo. but level of maturity, wisdom, and patience sets her apart from him. I feel like the gui seal heist was less careful, as if ZH got impatient
