The plot is amazing. This drama has flaws but I will tell you that it won't disappoint you in giving you the FEELS. When I tell you I haven't cried as heavy as this for multiple periods in one episode and cried as hard for the next ones, believe me. It made me regret putting on my skincare at night just to be wiped out by these salty tears. However, I'm not into male leads who look as if he had fallen in love so quickly with his female partner. Particularly in the first episodes where the male lead protected the female lead against her tribulation (?). I was kind of turned off by that, but I hold off. And as the episodes went by their love grew steadily and I thought that an over show off of the male lead's love for the female lead from saving her from her first challenge as a god was not just an overly show off of love but a rather teacher's/master's way on helping his disciple conquer their challenge which was also done by the female lead towards her disciple. Moreover, the two protagonists' love for each other is so pure that it made me pity them for all the hardships they went through. And from my point of view, even when they were made again I believe that even when Hou Chi and Qing Mu felt like they were separate persons, they still have some essence of Shanggu and Bai Jue and that Hou Chi and Qing Mu is just what Shanggu and Bai Jue will be if ever they were born as immortals, not gods. This is why I felt that their love is pure that even when they have no reconciliation of who they are or even if they are made into another person, they will always be a part of themselves who will yearn for each other.
Am I the only one that's still not 100% convinced that Buyeon's souls is dead?
Agreed. Naksu can’t originally see energies. However , correct me if I’m wrong, in the last episodes of the prequel didn’t Naksu/Mudeok accepted Buyeon’s power? Hence why she is contemplating on exchaning the lives of those trapped in the barrier inexchange of her freedom?
