This was so draggy that i felt he should have ended up with the webtoon artist cause what the f i have watched? First was Heesu in class 2 and now this one.. are writers really this clueless about making better pacing or something π
One thing im going to say is... the bl couple story is DRAGGY as heck.. π we had the straight couple kissing out and getting together first than the bl couple cause they cant freaking confess. Its like watching two turtles racing to the end of the finish line in total slowmotion.
It's actually not that deep. Gao Dawei is actually just a plot device created for the series, he doesn't exist…
Thank you for telling us this! I wish there would be a better way to make this series but due to censorship.. i hate the censorship so much π also yeah the decades years lapse was so unnecesary..
This is why I wanna read the novel. I'd rather think the novel's ending as the original ending to make myself…
The way they changed so many things in the series.. what you said from the novel made so much more sense cause a game couldnt be this super advanced as if it was magic π

But wait in the novel lanzhu is actually gaodawei? Or youre just hoping it would be like that in the series, plus is lanzhu an npc in the novel too like in the series?
This ending is not, and never will be forgettable.. it destroyed me π kinda wish there would be like a special episode(or several episodes) that makes an alternative ending like the novel(a very good ending from the novel).
I DONT LIKE THIS ENDING AT ALL wdym it was just his dream from his coma wdym it went past 60 years and ge made…
I agree with you.. everything was going soo amazing but the ending kinda killed me a little.. why they didnt went the route that the novel had.. sigh. Even if they had censorship going on i dont think it was necessary to change the ending a big part of it.
Disappointed in Vigloo. They baited me into getting their app for this, Love in the Apocalypse, and Match Play…
Hi, i wanted to tell you i watched it from dailymotion, and Love in the apocalypse with Match Play i watched both in BiliBili app. Hope this helped if you havent watched them yet.
*May contain spoilers. Proceed with caution* I dont know where to start but i really got mixed feelings about this series. It really had potential but for some reason they managed to make it messy when it shouldnt be... For example some parts were totally unnecesary and just had too much sadness and crying without even trying the hardest(writing could be better on this). Overall this series was good, but sadly my expectations were high after the first few eps, until it crashed down... Acting was there, specially Dream's face expressions; cinematography is cute and simple; chemistry was great for a pair i never have seen before; lastly but not least, people's visuals(not super important but thats a plus). On a side note, they should do these steamy scenes with more thought of the whole story, it seemed like they wanted to attract viewers that fast, and afterwards there were no intimate scenes anymore besides some uncalled kissings when both havent sorted their emotions out(And it happened twice, one from 5years ago, and after 5 years they did it again and Night was still unsure.. Night character was oddly written the most).
Also, can we talk about how great it is that Youku is streaming BLs/LGBTQ now? Theyβre based in Beijing. First…
Same with iQiyi and Wetv, those both are chinese apps and released some BLs now, but maybe since its the international version they dont mind putting BL.
How can i say this... the plot was ok, but the writing of this was really all over the place. Some scenes where Woojae shouldnt be acting like this and that, and some scenes where it was somehow harsh, mind you.. that he was the one who left for 4years just because he was hurt, everything should be settled by talking and talking and the moment he was even more mad cause Yeonwoo didnt 'look for him' when he disappeared without any TRACE, so it was quite.. silly by his part. Other bad point is about the buildup before the kiss in the nightsky, that moment was ruined when Yeonwoo kissed him unexpectedly and Woojae kissed him back afterwards(it would be better some buildup like apologies, heart-to-heart talk more deply, and also needed some subtle gestures to know they still love eachother). The best thing that happened to this series probably was the ending, it was delightful and playful, but still, we could see that it was kinda just extra brownie points to make up for the rest of the draggy episodes.
