Does this have a happy ending?

While we don't see the girls come back as humans in the ending, as long as the tree and their flowers regrow they will come back as humans after enough time. At the very end both the tree and their flowers regrow, which implies that they will, in fact, gain their human form again and be reunited with everyone. Hence making it a happy ending, even though we don't see the reunification.

I'm so glad I watched this drama! This is one of the BEST dramas I have ever seen! I was worried at first because I only watch xianxias with happy endings, and looking at the comments it was mixed on whether it was a happy or an open ending. In my opinion, this was a happy ending and I'm very satisfied with it.
