i believe the hype is for the dance, moves, the color choice which is totally understandable the dances were perfect for me cuz i have zero knowledge about it so even if it wasn't great i wouldn't know , and yeah people tend to follow the flow so if the person who started watching it first said its bad everyone would follow . vise versa
