Still learning Japanese - that’s how I got here in the first place. Learning this difficult language because it’s keeping my brain healthy to do difficult tasks. Make that impossible tasks.

To immerse myself in as much of the Japanese language as I can, to hear this language, to see landscapes, cities, the people and get a taste of the culture too is what got me started.  
Watching lots of Japanese movies and series is fun, and I started binge watching lots of South Korean stuff too. At first because  Netflix suggested to watch South Korean series whenever I asked for Japanese movies or series but now I’m addicted to the South Korean stuff too. I like how it sounds, too.

That's how it started, but now I'm competely hooked, and watching movies and series, reading manga and manwha from the other side of the globe (I'm from Europe) - every day. And now, in the weekends, reading manwha all day, recently I got heavily addicted to it.

First Japanese series I saw was Running Away is Shameful, but Useful  (The Full Time Wife Excapist). I have rewatched this twice already and still like it a lot. Really funny. Very Japanese in lots of ways.


Now I love BL. I have become quite a fujoshi. I like the fluffy fairytales and the dark ones, the very funny Cherry Magic as well as the very dark The Dangerous Drugs of Sex and the likes.

Now that I’m a member of MDL for more than a year I have found lots of other sites where J dorama can be found. Thank you, my fellow members, for mentioning those sites, providing lists and links, and sharing names of the fansubbers. Thank you all for that!
 
And of course a special very big thank you to all the fansubbers themselves who bring us those great translations!

5,5  complete waste of time, awfull story, cardboard scenes, bad acting
6      waste of time, bad story
6,5  couldn't find something better, have seen all other series
7      story is okay, nothing special, nice
7,5  story is okay, made me smile or cry a bit, decent acting
8     great story, good acting, handsome actors, made me cry a lot or really made me laugh out loud

8,5 really great, original story, great acting

9 almost a masterpiece, ticking nearly all the boxes
