One thing i dislike about costume/historical dramas. etc. you get my drift is the power struggle. Imagine you just being hired as maid in the Qin household, u just arrived 5minutes later the household is raided because of some fearful/jealous ministers.
What breaks is the fact that they plot against you because they see potential in you surpassing them n that scares them. the little power or followership you have, they set you up(frame) you knowing that once they succeed, they will wipeout your entire clan. Even that bby who is just being born or the maid who just arrived to ensure that no one gets revenge on them n exposes their wrongs. But i guess it makes good drama.
