I love both couples but sorry it’s dumb to compare Gao tu’s reason of lying to Hua Yong’s and makes me think you’re not really paying attention to the show.

Hua Yong is lying to Shao You bc he can, he’s powerfull enough to do it and he wants him. Gao tu is lying to literally protect himself and bc his mom told him to since childhood. He literally developed childhood trauma and a complex bc the way his mom was treated as an omega. Who knows what his father will do if he ever finds out Gao tu is an omega. His life and freedom could literally be in danger. Him lying to Wen lang is only a side part of his storyline and Wen lang is not the main reason why he’s lying about his identity.

So no, their situation are not even comparable to the SLIGHTEST.

For this show the second couple has stolen my heart, especially Gao tu but i love both couples so much.

1st, the one episode a week schedule which will take till october together with how slow the pacing is, will not do the show any favors imo.

2nd i like both couples but Gao tu actor is clearly the best actor among them.

The amount of chemistry between Chi Cheng and Weiwei leaves me absolutely baffled after every episode. It’s the type of chemistry like in the notebook or silver linings playbook (my favorite movie)

Also their body language when they kiss is so natural. You see they really WANT to kiss, they are hugging while kissing, they are EMBRACING each other which is how it is in real life too. I seen too many bl’s where they kiss like their lips are the only body part they are willing to touch from each other lol

One is hiding from his boss from finding out that he is Omega and it's obvious the boss will eventually find out and accept him.' In terms of that part of their storyline, the main couple is literally the same lol. The alpha will find out that the the omega is actually an enigma and he will accept him. Its literally the same for both couples lol. The point of both these stories tho is literally how it will all unfold and take place. Both stories bring much more to the table but somehow for the second couple you seem to miss that. I wonder why. Gao Tu is literally struggling with trauma since his childhood and has a complex for which he's not able to accept his omega self. Y'all act like he only hides being an omega bc of Shen Wenlang meanwhile he's been hiding it his entire life. And Shen Wenlang also has a story of why he doesn't like omega's.

You wonder why people are so much (more) invested in the second couple but it seems to me you just refuse to see it tbh. Also the fact that this is the 1st real omegaverse and this trope is quite a popular one, so it's not weird that people are even more excited to see this exact trope come to life for the first time.

Gao tu literally stole my heart, i love him and want to protect him. He literally is the only omega, and on top of that has the most tragic life😭also the actor is literally like the most perfect combo of 50% pretty and 50% handsome and him playing an omega somehow blows my mind.

But yeah Gao tu getting pregnant already scares me especially with how weak he already is due to the drugs he keeps taking. My poor baby😔
