The only chemistry I see between Da On and Su Hyeon is an abusive one.
That's your opinion. Many people think that they have a lot of chemistry during their college scenes ( or in general idk) including myself. Both international and in Korea.
For anyone who didn't notice (i also didn't at first, i thought Daon kissed Sooyhyun back bc he wanted to). But Daon is using the kiss to keep Soohyun from hurting Seonghyeon, something that Soohyun confirms for him the moment he stops responding to the kiss and threatens Seonghyeon again. And this shouldn't be dismissed.
Like i understand if you ship Daon and Soohyun. I personally only want Daon with Seonghyeon but i must admit that the chemistry between Daon and Soohyun is amazing. But Daon did NOT want that kiss. And eventhough in the beginning he was tolerating it, kissing someone you don't want to gets overwhelming especially when the one you like is outside lol.
Coming back to MDL after months just to say that this might be the best KBL of all time.Hopefully they won't botch…
I have not been THIS invested into a show since i bingewatched stranger things back in july 2019. To me this is one of my fave shows EVER and DEFINITELY the best kbl and the best bl i have ever seen.
I have watched episode 6 so many times atp and my opinion changes often but everytime i watch it, i am heartbroken by Daon's facial expression when Soohyun is kissing him and he's looking at the door where he hears Seonghyeon's knocking. He looks so pitiful, small and heartbroken. And honestly it was like looking at a lion devouring a gazelle or something like Soohyun was barely giving Daon time to breath eating his face like that and he's OVERWHELMINGLY dominating. But it was so sad to me bc we HAVE seen Daon having a backbone and standing up for himself but it seems to me that when they’re not in public and the boys are arguing Daon will sacrifice himself to DE-escalate the situation.
His difference in energy when he asks Soohyun to stop and get into his house, he's TERRIFIED of the situation escelating. When he gets into the house with Soohyun, yess he complies with kissing him but again to keep Soohyun calm and not escalate. When he answers to Soohyun by saying 'what if i refuse' to Soohyun saying he can't look at Seonghyeon like that he in front of him again. Daon has this stronger energy than before. He says what he thinks but again when Soohyun threatens to kill Seonghyeon he gets back in his shell and gets scared for Seonghyeon's safety so he basically complies. It's like he get's kind of 'submissive' to Soohyun when it comes to Seonghyeon's safety. Same thing for example during the meeting.
There we can see that Soohyun is again saying things and manhandles Daon to provoke Seonghyeon and make him jealous by showing the power he has over Daon. Daon just lets Soohyun say and do what he wants and basically gives in/submits to him by not telling him to stop or get angry but by just saying 'we'll talk about it later' to not ESCELATE the situation. Also him willingly going in Soohyun's car when he tells him while Seonghyeon is behind him, to again to not ESCELATE the situation. Only AFTER that does he speak his mind to Soohyun. Honestly i think Daon is SUPER brave and he really tries his best to protect Seonghyeon and stand up to Soohyun which he does AMAZINGLY considering the HUGE power imbalance both psychically, mentally and professionally. Daon is by far my favorite character and imo he has handled this situation and these men in the best possible way a sane human being can especially considering his personal situation. I would have already jumped of a bridge if i was him ngl.
You really think after seeing Su Hyeon smash a bottle in somebody head and him grabbing Da On so hard in the face…
Girl calm down. This is how i see things bc Daon was kissing back at one point and then he wasn’t anymore and was pushing him back. So imo he could have not kissed back and pushed a little from the start. but then again this is a show. No need to jinx my real life lol.
Okay in my personal opinion getting Soohyun inside the apartment was enough. Daon didn’t HAVE to comply with the kissing. Like i don’t think Soohyun would have gone outside to hurt Seonghyeon if Daon didn’t comply with that part.
I think Daon just went along with the kissing yes to satisfy Soohyun but also just bc he wanted to. When Soohyun’s hand went lower and he touched his butt, THAT’S when Daon came back to his senses and tried to push Soohyun off but failed. And he also stopped kissing back he realised Seonghyeon knocked and was still outside the apartment. This is my opinion and no i don’t want Daon with Soohyun (although the kiss between the actors was🫦), i want him with Seonghyeon.
OMG i did not notice it the first time i watched the episode but when Soohyun and Daon are making out you can actually hear knocking on the door and THAT’S when Daon opens his eyes to look at the door omg so my baby Seonghyeon was there desperately knocking on the door😭i’m broken
Y’all i feel a bit dizzy after this episode. 🥴 My jaw was on the floor right from the cut of Daon and Soohyun making out to Jaemin harming himself. I need to collect my thoughts but i hope that after Jaemin heels from his self inflicted woonds, they get him into a psych ward bc omg this is INSANE. This bl is INSANEEEEEE
Can we talk about how much of a MAN Seonghyeon is??!! The way he stood in front of Soohyun, HELD his ground, KEPT eye contact! And also when Soohyun threathened him, he didn't even back down, he just extended his arm to Daon even MORE to KEEP him behind him. Literally prepared to lose his job just to protect Daon. I love him so much.
But OMG i HATED the way Soohyun was saying 'what should i do, he's asking me to go with him inside his house' just to rub it in Seonghyeon's face. It's disgusting tbh that he's saying it as if it's a big accomplishment meanwhile Daon only said this to de-escalate the situation and bc he's terrified. Like does he have NO self-awareness?? Doesn't he see how scared Daon is??? And then seeing Daon's and Soohyun's back turned to Seonghyeon and walking away hurt me so much and then our Seonghyeon hit us with the 'Don't go Daon' PLS. Ugh can't wait for next episode.

He's gorgeous lmao But for Jaemin eventhough it was 'love' at first sight in the beginning, next to being obsessed with him now, Daon is a person who can perfectly feed his ego. Jaemin almost has like a 'saviour or God' role in Daon's life which Jaemin enjoys. For Soohyun and Seonghyeon they organically fell in love with Daon. Soohyun in college and Seonghyeon at work. Probably just because Daon is a nice, respectable and goodlooking guy.
Daon seems kind of cute but he seems afraid to talk. If you don't like someone, tell them to their face, don't…
I think Daon has been holding his ground really well infront of Suhyeon and has defended himself, at the end of the day Suhyeon is violent so there’s only so much he can say or do

I LOVE the way you phrase and explain stuff (please write comments every episode👀). Seonghyeon is really the best. He stood firm and held his head high even with Suhyeon’s threats while still also protecting Daon. Unfortunately Suhyeon is violent and Daon knows that so i hope he will understand Daon’s decision
I have no words for this episode at the moment except for how PHENOMENAL this show is. I will be writing another comment later when i gather my thoughts but it’s the way all the men just want a piece of Daon omg😳 and Suhyeon and Jaemin scare me more and more every episode
