This drama could have been much better if there were no romance. For me, the romance ruined everything. The story should have been about the sisters and nothing else.
I feel like K-dramas never respect themselves. I mean, this drama is supposed to be a thriller, but all I see is comedy and a bit of romance. Where’s the thriller?
The same thing happens with rom-coms — they’re supposed to be love stories, but we only see the secondary characters, the annoying female lead’s mother, the male lead’s trauma, and endless scenes of work, work, work. Then finally, there’s some romance — but only for ten minutes out of twelve episodes.
The first two episodes were perfect , excellent mix of mystery and thriller
Explain to me what’s going on with the ratings? When it’s some love story filled with every cliché in the…
You can't trust MDL ratings. I mean, on this website, lots of people rate a drama based on:
- OMG, the main character is so sexy 🥵. 10/10 -🤢🤮 The female lead's clothes are really bad. 2/10 - OMG, I love this character! We only saw him for one second in episode 40, and we will never see him again, but he is so sexy! 10/10 - NO ROMANCE , this drama is shit . 0/10 - NO ROMANCE ! Finally a drama without romance . 10/10
At least 80% of the criticism is based on this, and the other 20% is based on the acting, story, etc.
I dropped this. I'm tired of childish female leads. I know that maybe in future episodes she will have character development, but no — I don't want to wait.
I mean, I just watched Love in Pavilion, and that drama has the kind of female lead I've always wanted: strong (literally OP), smart, calm, cunning, and mature
