Your comment is totally valid, I agree that she's a one-dimensional character and frankly, this is a drama with no complexity and silly humor, I'm not even expecting anything complex from it. But I disagree when you say that no one is criticizing FL for fighting her battles. What I see here is most people saying that she does things out of sheer cruelty but I don't see anyone trying to understand that she's doing it all so she doesn't have to marry someone she doesn't love. People feel more pity for the boy who lost a year to get into school than for her who would have to spend the rest of her life in an arranged marriage when she already likes someone else. And honestly, this is such a light-hearted drama, with such silly, slapstick humor, but people here are making such a big deal out of it that it seems like they're watching something else entirely. I don't know, you saying that she must be a psychopath, I don't understand why FLs are always so under fire and I don't see any ML suffering so much attack even if they do the most terrible things and in a more serious scenario, which is not the case with this drama.

And the show of the exaggerated dramatic people continues here in the comments. The whining never ends. The thing is, you're used to dramas where ML is a genius and every time FL tries to trick him he turns around and tricks her. That's what you like to see, the FL always being outsmarted by the ML. Here it's different, it's not that she's a genius, it's that they're both of average intelligence. He's clumsy, childish and doesn't know how to do any everyday work because he's spoiled. He's by no means a genius and almost always falls for the tricks she pulls, but he ALWAYS manages to turn things around and in the end things work out for him. It's very funny to see the relationship between these two clueless people, but you're so dramatic that all you can do is vilify the FL...

She ruined his exam by accident, she was about to leave without doing anything but accidentally spilled the water which stained the ink more. And again, from her perspective, big deal he loses a year when if he got admitted to the school SHE would lose her future as she would be FORCED to marry him, It's not hard to try and see things from her side but you make it sound like everything she does is for pure fun and meanness. And again, this is a slapstick comedy, the way you're describing it here sounds like something totally different.

Why is it so difficult for you guys to see FL's side? "Oh she ruined his future", but from her perspective it's HER future or his, since if he gets accepted to school she thinks she'll have to marry him!
This drama is very funny, those who don't like it just drop it and move on, but enough crying in the comments!

In her perspective if he gets accepted in the school she will have to marry him and this is what she is trying to avoid the most, so she has her reasons, in any way she is just messing with someone who is just minding his business just for fun.

OMG the butt-hurted for the ML club is already here whining! For god's sake this is a light-hearted, slapstick comedy!! FL is a young, stubborn and strong willed lady who is determined to not have a forced marriage. As this is a slapstick comedy she fools the ML and get fooled by him in return, they fight like cat and mouse and that is the comedy aspect of this story. If you are a ultra sensitive person who get butt-hurted because the ML is being "sooo mistreated"🙄 by the bad FL, please, don't watch it. But if you are a normal person who don't hate woman, don't gets offended by everything and like a silly, light-hearted romantic- comedy, then you should give a try. 😉

Well, there is plenty of ways of doing conflicts without men being aggressive, abusive to women, you know... And a man that is not the vilain, it's the protagonist who a lot of viewers will see as desirable. This can be problematic and I think it's worthy of discussion

I'm still thinking if I should watch this drama but reading the comments I see it's another toxic, abusive ML that some here are juggling to justify his actions, as always. What is happening with cdramas and this current trend of toxic ML?? And what happening with the women that like this kind of protagonist? Why being a woman yourself you would like to see men (as long he is pretty) treating women like garbage?????

I agree with you, I don't understand why people are so obsessed with him. They say they're ruining a character who had a lot of potential, but where did these people see so much potential? From the beginning he was always clearly an asshole, an unbalanced guy, I could never see any of this wonderful potential they're seeing. I actually find it worrying to see the extent of these women's interest in a toxic, abusive character. They write huge texts to study his past and justify his actions while being brutally critical of anything a FL does. It's disheartening.
