Totally agree!! I'm just hoping maybe it's a moment of weakness before she realizes she needs to ascend higher... I will continue for now; if it doesn't get any better, then it's a drop for me.
What's weird is that it started off heavily focused on cultivation and action, with little to no romance, and now it looks like it's fully shifting to this weak heroine who needs to be saved by her strong demon lover type story...
A`sheng is fine, even her behaviour in past episodes to me is very interesting, so idk why everyone is complaining. What bothers me instead, is how weak and lovely the female lead has become.... Idk at start I thought she will be created as a strong heroine not this damsel in distress ( and the fact that she doesnt seem to get anyhow stronger as the story progress lol ) .. but lets see whats going to happen. ( Tho her scenes in last 2 eps were a hard watch personally)
