I’m glad she finally said something towards the end, because he's trying to be friendly with Ha Ran while she’s…
i feel like he is beeing too insistent and her drawn limits were fair, she told him straight she s not interested in getting close to anyone. but in the end this is kdrama, he's the ML and beeing pushy and persistent doing endless cute things for the FL prevails, because she is starting to give in as we see. so the message here beeing that as a man you should still pursue the girl even if you are pushed away..?

he recognised her when they first met in SK so he knows who she is and how she looks from their previous chats/seeing her in that video call or recording and if he feels that sorry for the state she is in now he better tell her the truth now if he really wants to help her move on. even if he has some memory loss and he doesn't remember everything he still remembers chatting with her and hiding it while trying to get close to her doesn't sit right with me

for me as a viewer it's so frustrating when a love triangle turns into a white knight competition between 2 guys chasing same female, doing a lot of stuff for her showing they are interested and care, the girl offers almost nothing in exchange, cannot make up her mind and end up misleading both of them. the current stage k-drama romances where MLs/SMLs keep throwing themselves at the girl with the girl showing little to none reciprocation except towards the last 2 episodes are just not for me

Something about literally all of the baby's scenes and acting seems so uncanny valley. It's got that off putting…
baby is real is just that the scenes with him and the transitions look unnatural or cut but it's just a baby it's not like they can film like with adult actors

Idk if there's more to it, for the sake of seonu chan i do hope there is, but from the first two episodes, the…
We still don't know why was ML depressed and wanted to jump and did he randomly stopped when he heard those message alerts knowing that she texted him...? Did he always talk to her instead of her actual BF, did her real BF even talk at all to her or was he totally disinterested? Did FL and her actual BF even met IRL in Korea before or how did she end up having feelings for him? Knowing this is k-drama land they will probably show that she actually started catching feeling after texting with ML not before and with her actual BF not talking to her at all and not actually caring at all. Anyways i don't really like their dynamics so far, he is too pushy around her when he's a total stranger to her. And then he really wonders ''why does she draw a line'' like dude, she doesn't even know you, do you want her to jump in your arms and live happily ever after? Last scene of episode 2 as well, he is repeatedly told she doesn't need his help and to be let alone and he's keep doubling down in the most cringey and white knight way possible keep insisting to offer his jacket which she didn't even end up wearing it. What's the message here? As a ML you have to be persistent, keep pursuing and do unsolicited endless ''cute'' gestures and in the end you'll win the girl? Maybe this looks dreamy and this is what majority of the viewers want to see but i am fed up with this same romance buildup dynamics and cliches If you feel that grateful because she helped you overcome your depression and also feel bad towards her seeing she is still stuck and affected due to what happened 7 years ago then find a moment and tell her the truth, but it's too early plot wise for that and they are just showing the ''green flag'' jumpy ML for now.

I don't believe that even after 7 years people can't move on from their first love, usually at extreme cases they…
time passages in k-dramas was always treated superficially and only needed for the sake of the plot. they don't make sense most of the times, ML-FL know each other from childhood/highs school, they separated/lost contact, both in their 30s now, single, they met again and start talking like nothing happened in between in their lives, somehow in the eyes of the writers and viewer this type of love/relationship is more pure and worthy

Ig chae jong hyeop is being typecast with these roles. Off the top of my head i feel like him, park bo gum, moon…
In the last 3 dramas i have watched with him casted as ML (Love All Play, Castaway Diva, Serendipity's Embrace) he was just the same, you could take his character/personality from those 3 shows and put it here and it wouldn't look out of place. Working full time in the service of FL there as well being a supper supportive green flag ML that does everything right. I don't think I'm crazy to wish for a bit of originality or creativity for these shows and characters, to move on from the same cliches and romance buildup tropes and interactions, same shoe tying ML's that run up with an umbrella or randomly appear every time FL takes a fart or is in slight discomfort. Can't they just already move from the same replicated dynamics and write some original characters and genuine non one sided interactions between them?

K-dramas writers really love to write a ''white knight'' ML character, i mean.. can't romance be developed other way around? I just see it as lazy writing if every other ML character is written to be this way. I feel like he's way too over the top and jumpy every time he gets the chance, like i know he's grateful for what he feels she did for him, but it just feels forced and too early. The interaction at the end of the second episode felt weird, he might feel a connection and be drawn towards her but for her he's just a stranger for as long as he choses to keep it a secret who he is and that they interacted before, but i guess that is kept for later episodes. If no FL-ML childhood connection/trope, grandma/grandpa must feel in, ok now that every character is connected romance is possible.

when they first met i thought she has memory loss due to trauma of believing her boyfriend died 7 years ago but it didn't made any sense as no one close to FL recognised him, also towards the end i saw that there was another name that popped up for her ex bf and after reading some theories here it made more sense of a more plausible scenario of what happened

So i read theory on X and that theory seems pretty much possible. So Song Haran was in relationship with Kang…
i thought he was her real bf and she forgot about him due to trauma of thinking he died

It's a little bit predictable. Most of the times a love triangle is inserted just as another attempt to create a bit of drama/tension, make it ''interesting'' or fill episodes up having a bit of a side story (aside the usual trauma). I don't have a problem with love triangles as long as they are not predictable, we already know that in kdrama land 99% of the time ML and FL end up together and SML or SFL are just there to be more of a support role than actual leads with independent stories and life. In this drama i don't see SML having a real shot with FL, and if the SML is a good guy like in this case up to this point, he'll just end up a character people will be sorry for or pity. It is still a nice feel good watch all together, i don't have a problem with FL's acting or personality, she is nice. I also like the dynamics between regular ML-FL characters, than poor clueless FL that is most of the times a doormat in front of CEO ML. I am still going to rate this pretty high just for the fact there is no ML and FL childhood trope/connection with endless flashbacks, that's already progress to me as long as romcoms go.

Title Silent Truth Spoiler
To me Maki has the most obvious motive, for now. Keisuke suggested to report it as the blackmail won't stop but she was worried that it will affect their son's school admission. It would be too obvious to be Keisuke as he went the last to talk to Sakuma, and it wasn't shown what they discussed, there was a scene where the camera lingered on Keisuke's visible concerned face by the fact Junichi suggested to open the capsule, i think it's just a bait. It could be someone outside the group as well, maybe someone witnessed what happened that day, or someone from the group confessed to someone about what happened or the gun's location. But if it's someone from the group i am thinking it's Maki, she also acts the weirdest among them. There is more to the story that it is shown now, likely the civilian killed that day is tied to the story as well, as well as the motive they decided to hide the gun.

On Can This Love Be Translated? Jan 24, 2026
I enjoyed it up until episode 5 or 6, with the last 2-3 episodes fell into total banality. I didn't like the Do Ra-Mi trauma plot, her manager found out about her other personality but just brush it off like it's nothing and watch her go out acting like that, ML as well was aware about it but didn't took her to get professional help as soon as he noticed she acting way off. So she is so famous all of a sudden after her first movie with a leading role, everyone across the globe watching her on their phones, got invited to lot of shows, but after she went to film the ,,reality show'' with the Hiro, she just freely roamed at night with the ML getting close or kissing with 0 press after them? I thought she was actually big and got interest on her. Just one picture taken of them could ruin the movie they we're filming at the moment. And what's the deal with Ji-Seon and her ex , why did they broke up actually? Did Ji-Seon get the ick because she felt like the guy considered it a chore to marry her and felt nothing for her, but also considering how easy it got for her makes me think that there were no feeling towards him to begin with and the writer just wanted to set her up with someone else, or am i missing something? Also did ML ever found out that his roommate is dating the girl she was not over for so long? I'm just fed up with these trauma sub-plots, they are so superficial and hard to believe because they don't have a real built up, they are just thrown at some point in the series to fill up episode and drag the show. If it's that hard to make a consistent good show for 12-16 episodes better stick to 8 episodes, most of the shows i have watched lately are just not as consistently good in the second half. Also for me romance felt off, most of the times FL chased ML but he didn't knew what he wanted or wasn't over the SFL, then they have the talk soon after Mu Hui spots Ho Jin talk to Ji Seon, FL still seems like she likes him a lot but ML took that at a rejection or that she's pushing him away, just too many dragging and misunderstanding for the sake of drama. Really unnecessary overcomplicated dynamics between the leads .
