@CKDramaddicts He should be happy that he had such a capable heir. If he thought about it Lanxi despite all the power he accumulated never took action against him when he could have had easily. Instead he brought in treasures and fixed problems that needed to be fixed. If the third prince is nowhere near Lanxi that is problem. The king only cared about his queen and third son and the other two sons were just pons in his eyes. Being that scared of your own son showed how weak he was as a man. Then taking his vitality away to only keep using him when he would have been an asset to the kingdom his just that messed up mentality I can't get around...
